Tina:  Come here sweetie. Kiss me… let me kiss you.

Bette pulls herself closer to Tina and they kiss softly, and then with more passion and then lighten up.

Tina:  Bette, I know that you love me and I know you want me. And god knows that I want you. And we both knew that this time might come and it has. We are going to have to make some adjustments. I am going to continue to make love to you and you are going to continue to experience orgasms. We just won’t be as wild as we have been in the past. And who knows, maybe this is not a consistent thing but something that comes and goes.

Bette: You know that I’m embarrassed by this don’t you?

Tina: Oh Bette. Noooo. There is no reason for you to be embarrassed. This is not something you chose. This happens to everyone who lives to be old enough to experience it. Come here. Let me hold you.  Don’t you ever be embarrassed by this. My sweet, sweet woman.

Tina held Bette and stroked her back and put her head on her chest. She could tell that Bette was still somewhat upset.

Tina: You know there are a number of things that we can do… right?

Bette:  Yeah, I remember what Dr. Wilson said.

Tina: Well, I am prepared for this eventuality. But in order to put them into the process, we need to know when it’s appropriate.
