Chapter 22 – Thanksgiving Week
Tina smiled and started to put the plates on the cart to wheel them back to the kitchen. She quickly pushed the cart to the elevator and pushed it to the kitchen. She then got a fresh pot of coffee and some cream and carried it upstairs. She then stripped down and put on her robe so that she would be dressed as Bette was – naked except for her robe and slippers. Tina set up the coffee on the bathroom counter to stay warm. She then got out a bottle of water. She then straightens up the bed but folded the covers down so that they would be inviting. Went out on the deck to wait for Bette.
Bette came out with a cup of coffee and came to sat on the gliding sofa and sat next to Tina.
Bette: I’m need to drink more water. I see you set up a pot of coffee.
Tina: I thought you might want some more a little later. Come sit down.
Bette: Thank you for breakfast. That was really sweet. I’ll have to do that for you sometime.
Tina: Are you feeling okay, Bette?
Bette: I feel fine. A little melancholy a bit. I’m so happy to have Angie here. I’m happy that Daniel is doing well in school and has a good friend. Hell, I’m happy that Margaret and Mary have decided they really like each other and want to be a couple. I’m a little stunned and I certainly hope things go well with those two. I would hate for you and I to have to deal with two senior love sick puppies.
Tina: Yeah, and living in the same household at that. But let’s not anticipate problems which are not there. At least not yet.
Bette: I feel pretty good for the most part. But I can tell that my body is not what it once was. And that is disappointing somewhat.
Tina: What do you mean? What’s going on?
Bette: I so enjoyed making love to you last night. I love the way you respond. Your facial expressions, your complete surrender to me, your passion and your vibrance. But last night was a little different for me. Normally, when I make love to you, I am so turned on that when I know that you are not going to be in a position to return the favor, I just make sure that I rub my clit on your thigh or your butt or even your hand so that I can have my release. Well, last night, I really wanted you but I didn’t get as wet as I normally do. So, I thought that maybe things would be better this morning. I normally wake up rather wet. And now you come to me making yourself available and I want you more than I can say, but my body is not responding as it normally does. And that is scary. Oh, I am getting the butterflies in the stomach and my clit is slightly stimulated and you look so damn beautiful and I want you.

Great solution for helping Suzanne. I also like the various positive ways for her to repay the loan. Maybe 10 years down the road as she repays the loan it gets distributed again. When she has paid it off they can tell her the truth and they all can create an on going scholarship for deserving Yalie with B & T millions!!!!
So, get writing those 10+ years.
Thanks, I love your work!
You do realize that Suzanne’s solution originated with the investigation of Melvin Porter? Its one of the things that I admire about Bette. She absorbs the nuggets of wisdom which appear from various sources. I do like the fact that Bette and Tina want to help Suzanne but do not want Suzanne to be aware of where this help is coming from. And with this solution, neither Angie nor Suzanne will be in a position of being obligated to the other. If for some reason, their friendship sours, Suzanne will keep her support. And if anything should happen that Bette and Tina do not survive until Suzanne finishes her education, the money will still be there to assist her.
I like Suzanne as a friend for Angie… I like that she has red hair and is studious like Angie and perhaps a little more so. Do not look for any romance ever between Angie and Suzanne… that is just not in the cards and it would be a disaster for both of them.
Thank you for reading and commenting… I appreciate you pointing out Suzanne’s solution.
