     Chapter 23 – The Wedding

Tina: Well, there will be time for you to have a nap this afternoon and you can sleep late tomorrow as well.

Angie:  But don’t sleep all day, because tomorrow is mine and Suzanne’s last day here. We will be going back to Yale in the early afternoon. And I want to see your smiley face before I leave.

Daniel:  Wow, that is tomorrow isn’t it. Seems like you just got here.

Mary: She’ll be back in a couple of weeks. And then we will have Christmas celebration.

Daniel:  That’s good. I really miss you when you’re not here.

Angie:  I miss you too Daniel. But just like you, I’ve got school to attend and things to do. You just keep calling me when you get a chance.  It helps me to keep up with what’s going on here in Santa Monica.

Daniel:  Yeah, I can do that.

Tina: So, tell me what at Universal Studio did you enjoy the most John David?

John David:  I like the Mummy ride. It was wild.

    Tina:  Suzanne?

Suzanne:  I liked the Harry Potter Ride. I really thought I was flying through the air. And the scenery was so real. I would have liked to have done that one a second time.

Mary:  I’m with you Suzanne. I really enjoyed that one except when we went by that spider. I’m not fond of spiders.

Margaret:  Did you guys feel the heat from the dragon’s flames?

Bette:  Yes, they put out a blast of warm air toward our seats. I think the heat was more suggestive than real. Great realistic movements with the seats in that you really felt like you were flying. I actually thought that was the best ride of the day.

Angie:  I did too. But they were all fun. And the food was good. And the tram was a wonderful touch.

Daniel:  That shark scared me until I saw he could not quite reach our train.

Margaret:  That was scary for a moment. Did you see those people move away and scream? They were scared too.

Tina:  Well, we will have to do that again sometime. But I think we will not get to it in for a couple years. We have other things that we want to do first.
