Tina:  I need to meet this woman.

Bette: I’ll introduce you but remember, she is my woman. And I belong to her… there is no other and there never will be.

Tina: I am very lucky to have you Bette… you are all of that and more for me. I do love you. Shall we go tell everyone goodnight and have an early night to bed?

Bette:  Sounds like a plan. I could use a kiss or two.

Tina:  Well, that is about all I have the energy for tonight sweetie. Come on Tiger, let’s say good night.

Bette and Tina walked into the media room and saw Mary and Angie and Daniel talking. Tina told them that she and Bette were heading up to their room to get some sleep. They then hugged each one and kissed them goodnight and they would see them in the morning. Mary asked if they were going to swim again. Bette and Tina said yes. They agreed that they would all retire to their rooms for an early night.

Bette: How do you think the lesson on money went?

Tina:  I think it went perfect. They both seem to understand that the money lives in the checking account and the debit card is how for the most part the money comes out. They now understand how to keep tabs on the transactions and the balance so they can plan and all that is at their fingertips in their cell phone. Daniel was particularly interested in the savings account. And I think Angie will make good use of it as well.

Bette: Well, we’ll watch their accounts and if they seem to forget about the savings, we shall gently remind them of its availability and its function. I think within a couple of weeks, they both will have a thorough understanding of their financial standing, and know when their money is coming in and when it’s going out. The more automatics we can put on this, the easier it will be for all of us.

Tina:  I am liking that we are having Daniel pay his lunch program at school himself. And we know that Daniel does not want to skip a meal. So, I think he will pay close attention to his school food program. As long as the transfer from our account goes to his every Friday, he should be ready to go with his debit card.

Bette:  Are you ready for me to turn out the light?

Tina: Oh, yeah. Goodnight, Sweetheart. I love you. Sleep well.

Bette:  Goodnight, T. I love you.

Tina rolled over and Bette spooned into her and began to smell her hair. Bette soon relaxed into a regular breathing pattern and fell asleep.  Tina had pulled Bette’s hand close and had fallen asleep almost instantly.
