Bette waves her off “I don’t have anyone to blame but myself..I just don’t get her showing up here tonight..I haven’t heard from her since that day and she wouldn’t return my calls or texts after that so I gave up”

“Well obviously she was jealous from seeing us together…And I guess she thinks you have moved on because I’m not your typical one night stand..She obviously regrets it..Looks like people are buying this and we haven’t even made it public yet”

Bette shakes her head “I don’t care..I want nothing to do with her but I don’t want her causing problems for you when we do go public with this fake relationship”

“I’m not worried about her..Let her try..” Tina say confidently

“I love a woman who’s confident” Bette flashes  an alluring smile at Tina

Tina smirks “Your wily charms won’t work on me Porter”

“Well that’s disappointing really but I obviously don’t have to turn on my charm with you..You came here tonight to be with me…You couldn’t resist being in my presence”

Tina scoffs “You are so full of yourself Porter..I tried calling you but your calls went to voicemail and so I wanted to check and see if you were ok”

“Awwwww..Were you worried about little ole me” Bette bats her eyelashes

“Oh shut up” Tina playfully pushes her arm

“Hey!..No contact unless we are in public..”Bette thinks for a moment “I think that was on page four of the contract”

Tina bursts out laughing with Bette joining her. They only stop when interrupted by Tina’s phone buzzing

“Let me check that” Tina says taking her phone out of her pocket and looks at it for a moment…her mouth dropping open “Oh shit”

“What?” Bette says curiously

“Check your phone”

Bette grabs her phone and sees immediately that it’s dead “Fuck…No wonder you couldn’t get me..My phone is dead”

Tina looking annoyed shoves her phone at her “Here..Open the link”

Bette takes Tina’s phone and opens the link to a headline from gossip columnist Lorna Page which shows a picture of Carol’s hand on Bette’s cheek

Sources say Carol Ashford famed executive producer and recently divorced confirmed she and bad girl Bette Porter have made their relationship official after photos surfaced minutes ago of them cozying up at Shane McCutcheon’s party..Looks like supermodel Tina Kennard’s night out with the bad girl was just a one time thing as Carol claims Bette agreed to drop her player ways and commit

“That fucking bitch!” Bette exclaims “Damn it..The bitch set me up!”

Bette shoves the phone back at Tina exasperated.

Tina clasps her fingers together in thought

“Ok..So she threw a curve ball..We will have to one up her..I will have to admit if I hadn’t of seen with my own eyes what went down I wouldn’t have believed it was innocent and I would have called this off”

Bette scoffs

“Thanks for the vote of confidence”

Tina sighs “Nevermind that though..We need to go see Peggy..She will know what to do in this situation”

“Tina you really don’t want to mess with Carol..She is powerful in this industry and she could ruin any chances for me getting back into acting and could find a way to tarnish your career”

“Bette…We are going to proceed as planned..We will deny all allegations and I was here when the picture was taken so we can spin it in our favor..I’ve got this”

Bette’s worried look changed to one of an aroused state

“When you talk like that it makes me want to throw you up against this railing and take you right here”

Tina chuckled “Do you have an off switch?”

Bette shakes her head “No”

“Well..There will be no funny business with me” Tina points her finger up in the air as if stating a fact “….Now let’s get out of here since I’m sure people will start talking..We will meet up at my agent’s office  tomorrow..And charge your damn phone Porter so I can send you the time and address to meet”

“Yes your Highness” Bette says walking over to the door and unlocking it for them to leave
