chapter 8
“I know, I love her more than I thought possible, I’m one lucky woman,”
“You are,” Kit said, “Not everyone is as forgiving as Tina has been,”
“I know, I know,”
“Look after her,”
“I am, I promise, I’ve seen the error my ways and I just want to make sure she and I are happy forever.”
Bette nodded listening to her sister.

Tina was swimming when Bette walked into the back yard later than same evening, Bette stood and watched as Tina was doing laps, she knew that Tina was trying to keep fit but was told by Dr. Wilson not run, she said that swimming was better for her.
Tina swam over to the side and looked up at Bette.
“Enjoying the view?”
“Always baby,” Bette said as she removed her jacket and sat on a chair looking at the pool and her woman.
“How was work?”
“You don’t want to know,” Bette said running her fingers through her hair.
“Amazingly I do, B which was why I asked,” Tina said, as she splashed in the water.
“Franklin is an asshole, I feel like he wants me out,”
“If you’re not happy baby, change the situation,”
“What do you mean?”
“People will snap you up if you put the word out that you want a new job?”
“Do you really think so?” Bette asked, looking at Tina like she was crazy,
“Honestly. I want you happy baby,”
“You make me happy,” Bette said,
Tina laughed before she got out of the pool, Bette looked at her, she was wearing a bikini. She took her in, smiling at her larger breasts and that her stomach was rounding.
“How was your day?” Bette asked,
“Had a couple of meetings and started working on a couple of scripts.” Tina picked up a towel, wrapping it around herself.
“Have you eaten?”
“Not yet, I had lunch with Kit,”
“Did you have the roast beef sandwich?”
“Yeah, it was as good as you said,”
“Told you,” Tina said as she walked into the bedroom.
Bette followed her.
“You did, how are you feeling?”
“Hungry,” Tina admitted laughing.
Tina dried herself before putting on shorts and a tank top. She looked at her stomach.
Tina took a deep breath.

I’m happy to see a bit Kit and Bette interaction. Also very happy Tina forgives Bette, she and Bette will never forget it but they need to move forward.
They are getting stronger by day.
Bette should look for another job. Franklin is a pain in the ass, his ego took beatings by Bette being successful and instead of being grateful for all the hard work Bette put to make the museum bigger and successful he behaves as a jealous ass.
