“We are going to have to tell people soon,”
“You think?” Bette said sitting on the bed,
“Babe it won’t be long before someone, either Tanya or Alice say I’m fat,”
“You’re not fat,” Bette got up and put her arms around Tina and pulled her close.
“I know that you know that, but they don’t.”
“When you’re ready, when we are ready,”
“Okay,” Tina smiled, “I think I need a shower and then some food,”
“I can order food,”
“Yeah please,”
“Anything you want?”
“Chicken, something with chicken.”
“Sure,” Bette smiled as Tina started going through a draw looking for her faviorite pair of shorts, they were baggy and made her feel comfortable.
“What you looking for babe?”
“My basketball shorts,”
“I think they are in the wash,”
“Oh,” Tina looked disappointed. She moved and found another pair of three quarter length cargo pants and a fresh t-shirt. She headed towards the bathroom.
Bette watched her go, smiling softly. She went and ordered them some food before she went to check the clean laundry she found Tina’s shorts, she knew that her woman just wanted to be comfortable. She made sure they were clean before she took them to the bathroom, opening the door, she could hear the water and Tina humming to herself. She swopped out the cargo pants for her Tina’s shorts and then went back into the bedroom, getting changed into Yoga pants and a tank top as it was a very warm night.
She was just paying and tipping the delivery boy when Tina walked back in,
“You’re amazing, you know that,”
“What?” Bette laughed as she put the grilled chicken burgers and fries she’d bought onto the dinning table.
“You’ve fond my shorts,”
“I just knew they may have been washed.” Bette laughed. “Are you comfortable now?”
“Yeah, I’m good, thank you,” Tina smiled, before kissing her softly. She sat down and eyed up the food, happily.
Tina looked up at Bette,
“I forgive you,” she said softly.
“Sorry?” Bette looked confused.
“I can see you beating yourself up daily, trying to guess if I’m still going to suddenly up and leave, listen. I forgive you. I don’t forget what you’ve done, my heart still hurts that the love of my life would do that too me but now I forgive you,”
“Wow,”
“But I tell you this now, and I mean this, if you ever cheat again I’m done,”
Tina was completely serious
Bette got up and took her into her arms, her hands gently running over the soft exposed skin as Tina’s top and ridden up slightly.
“I will never, ever cheat on you again, you’re all I want, need and will ever want and need.”
“I love you Bette, I have since the first time we meet but the pain I felt these last few weeks knowing that…that you had been with someone else. I can’t go through that again, I just can’t.”
“I won’t ever do that to you again, “
“Thank you,”
“You don’t have to thank me, just know that I love you and our baby,”
Tina smiled, before gently kissing her lips,
“Your baby and I are very, very hungry.”
“My Baby?”
“Yeah, when they make me hungry they are yours,”
Bette laughed, loving that Tina seemed very relaxed and happy, maybe it was nearly time for them share their news. This time it did all feel very different.

I’m happy to see a bit Kit and Bette interaction. Also very happy Tina forgives Bette, she and Bette will never forget it but they need to move forward.
They are getting stronger by day.
Bette should look for another job. Franklin is a pain in the ass, his ego took beatings by Bette being successful and instead of being grateful for all the hard work Bette put to make the museum bigger and successful he behaves as a jealous ass.
