    (Tina) I love that you’re running your own gallery again. I’ve missed seeing this fire in your eyes since you’ve been working at the CAC Bette looks at her and Tina glances her way and laughs. (Tina) It’s weird when I refer to the events of 15 years ago as current, isn’t it? (Bette smiles)

    Bette looks at her and Tina glances her way and laughs.

    (Bette smiles) I’m still getting used to it

    Tina smiles as she continues moving around the room and taking in the atmosphere.

    (Tina) How long ago did you open?

    (Bette) About five years ago. I worked at CU for a while after I left the CAC, and that suited me when Angie was little. But as she got older I knew that I wanted this again

    (Tina) Well it’s just amazing, what you’ve done here. It truly is

    They fall into silence again, and Bette watches as Tina becomes lost in various pieces that particularly capture her attention. She continues watching her for a while before breaking the silence.

    (Bette) Do you remember when we first did this? When we were dating?

    Tina raises her eyebrows and looks at her.

    (Tina) I do

    They share a look. Bette smiles and looks towards the next painting, and Tina laughs as she continues watching her.

    (Tina ) Careful baby, I don’t need much encouragement

    Bette smiles and shakes her head as they continue moving through the exhibit. Tina takes Bette’s hand as they walk through to the next room, looking at her with a mischievous smile.

    (Tina) And do your tours still have the same personal touch?

    Bette smiles and gives her a playful look of reproach.

    (Bette) Tee

    Tina smiles at her.

    (Tina) I’ll behave

    She points towards her with a smile.

    (Tina) But you started it that time


    They finish their tour and wander back to Bette’s office, turning to face each other by the door and looking at one another affectionately.

    (Tina) I’ll let you go, I don’t want to keep you from your work any longer

    (Bette smiles) It’s fine, I loved showing you

    Tina smiles and takes her hand.

    (Tina) I loved it too. I’m so proud of you

    They continue looking at one another as Tina gently runs her thumb over the top of Bette’s hand.

    4. Agree that the building momentum is tantalizing! I’m looking 4ward to the intro of Angie to the mix.

      Meanwhile, if Tibette hooks up b4 the Tina-Angie reunion, it will be a pleasant surprise for Angie to see them being civil and loving like they were most of her life
