“No. I don’t want that.”
She stood up from the bed and took Henry’s hands to bring him up off his knees. She then started her exploration again running her hands across his shoulders and heavily freckled back as she kissed him. They broke the kiss and she played with the hair on his chest then slowly moved her hands down his stomach and gradually reached inside his shorts. Henry shuddered when she grabbed hold of him.
“This is what I want.”
She quickly removed his shorts and briefs in one movement and was caught a little off guard when his erect penis sprung towards her. She just looked at it dangling there for a few seconds. She hadn’t seen a naked man in over seven years, and she couldn’t help but wonder what it would feel like when he entered her. Would it hurt? She wasn’t dry but she was hardly wet enough yet. She was feeling arousal but nothing like what she felt with Bette. There was a time that Bette could make her soaking wet by just looking at her a certain way or whispering something naughty in her ear. Henry wasn’t doing much to get her aroused but in his defense he was being cautious about making any forward moves. He let her take the lead and would follow her pace.
“Get on the bed.” She commanded.
Henry lay on his back with his hands behind his head and followed her movements with his eyes as she removed her thong and tank top then straddled his waist. She leaned down and kissed him while pressing her bared breasts into his chest. The coarse chest hairs tickled her sensitive erect nipples as she moved against him. The sensations of being with a man and having his body against hers felt different but not totally unfamiliar.
They kissed for a while longer. She let him suck on her neck and shoulders but stilled any of his attempts to take her nipples into his mouth. When she felt they were both ready she lifted herself up and slowly guided him inside her. She felt tight so she took her own fingers to stimulate herself and got the juices flowing. As her body adjusted to accommodate Henry’s shape and size she sat lower and deepened the penetration. Tina closed her eyes as if she needed to block one of her senses to enhance the others. She wanted to fully experience the sounds, the smells, and the tastes of making love to Henry but for some reason she didn’t want to look into his eyes. She didn’t want to see how their bodies fit together; she didn’t want the image of their first lovemaking burned into her mind. It was almost like an out-of-body experience for her.

Wow, thank you, two chapters in less than 24 hours; well Bat, Tina doesn’t get her answers, but at least she is comparing. I think that perhaps her problem is not about sex with men or women, but with Bette, and not exactly sex; she said doesn’t want to hurt her ex-partner but she really does it; Tina is caged in Bette’s circle; she needs her ‘own’ friends, out of it; no even other lesbians, (probably the lesbian world at WE-HO is small and interconnected). I believe Tina possibly feel her guilt, and suffocation, and probably alone, (I’m just thinking). I like a lot this chapter and at the same time it is very painful (believe me, I’m not masochist); but I am discovering and understanding more about the dysfunctional issue between them. Yes, Tina’s issue has little to do with sex as she is coming to realize, but I wanted to give her a compassionate man to do her exploration with rather than someone like Josh. That’s why I made Henry a friend and confidant in this story prior to them becoming sexually involved. She really is taking the wrong approach but I don’t think she knows what to do, and Bette basically kicking her out of the house and telling her to figure things out on her own didn’t help matters. .
Hey Bat, to have you post another chapter so soon is really great, even if I don’t like the context of this chapter, which I should assure you has nothing to do with your writing talent. Tina really seems more than confused to me and should consider talking to some professional. Whatever Tina is looking for I don’t think that she will be able to find those answers by trying to force a relationship with Henry – she doesn’t to me seems ready to date him – and he is setting himself up to some major heartache. Please don’t take my next comment the wrong way – but when Tina wanted him to have sex with her he declined and stated that he wanted to date her, but right at the next day they ended up having sex together?! As for their ‘family’ it’s going to be hard for them to not take sides, it sure is going to get awkward should Tina decide to join their family activities with her ‘boyfriend’ so soon after ending her marriage with Bette – so she either has to attend without Henry or she is going to stay away, either way this means she is going to distance herself from her longtime friends and that’s definitely not healthy. How come Tina didn’t have any friends of her own when meeting Bette? She had been in L.A. for some time working in the movie business, there must have been people she considered friends. Sorry but it’s something I always wondered about while watching the show. But enough – waiting patiently for your next post.

I agree it was unusual that Tina didn’t have friends of her own, which is part of the reason why I made Henry a friend before they became lovers. Secondly yes it did seem odd that he declined the sex the night before then slept with her the next evening but they did ‘technically go on a date’. However, that wasn’t the point. There were a couple of reasons why he held off. First he did not want to have sex with her while she was drunk. Secondly knowing her agenda he didn’t want to be used for sex just to satisfy her need to explore her ‘feelings for men.’. When he said he wanted to date her, it didn’t mean that he wasn’t going to have sex with her; it meant he wanted it to mean something and by asking her to date he could at least feel like she had feelings for him. I will address this night in a later chapter because I felt they did need to talk about it after they both had a chance to process it.
