“Of course.”
Bette shared her cup of java with the sleepy blonde before setting the cup down and climbing back into bed with her for some morning cuddling.
“What time is it?”
“It’s barely seven.”
“Why are you up so early?”
“Early? Don’t you have to be at work soon?” Bette asked as she kissed Tina’s nose.
“Fuck.” Tina remembered the confrontation with Aaron the day before and wondered if she still even had a job. “I’m ready to just walk out of there.” Bette remained silent, waiting for Tina to be ready to share more. “I guess I kinda did yesterday.”
Bette furrowed her brow. “You quit yesterday?”
“No, not exactly. But I did give Aaron a piece of my mind. And then I told him that I was seeing you. And I did it all in front of Eric.”
A smug grin threatened to reveal itself on Bette’s face, but she contained it to a half-smirk instead.
“And,” the brunette cleared her throat. “And, um, how did they take it?”
Tina smiled as she squinted at Bette. “They? Or he?”
“They.”
“I don’t know. It left them both speechless. But then again, I walked out of his office before assuring them that Eric had nothing to do with me switching teams.”
Bette let out a laugh.
“That’s hysterical, baby.”
Tina couldn’t help but laugh a little too. “I guess. I just hope I still have a job.”
“You know he can’t fire you for being in a lesbian relationship. Didn’t they just give you a promotion? Isn’t that what Joyce was congratulating you for yesterday?” Bette asked.
“Yes. By the way, Fierce Kitty Records?”
Bette smiled. “It’s the name Kit and I will be doing business under.”
Tina’s eyes widened. “You guys started your own record label?”
“Yeah. I figured we may as well. Gives them complete creative control, and we don’t have to worry about the Aaron’s of the world.”
“That’s so awesome, Bette! But, do you guys even know the first thing about running a label?” Tina inquired.
“Well, it’s not like we’re a real label. We just wanted to be able to distribute it and knew that the band would be taken a little more seriously if they were actually ‘signed’ to a label, you know?” Tina’s mental hamster was sprinting in its wheel as she stared at Bette. “What?” the brunette asked, knowing the blonde had something to say.

I undertand that Tina don’t like her boss, but she still needs the job hich allow her to pay the bills. And i don’t think that working together – it’s good for relationship.
Short and sweet.. thank you and I thank they would all work well together. Lol.. Bette is just an investor she still has her job. More there for support when they need it. Love it. See you next week.

Btw, this one of most fun reads on f/f fanfic universe amongst the 1000s I have read so far. Do you plan to post it on AO3 or other websites? Would be a travesty to deprive others hungry for quality stories that make you laugh, palpitate, savor all in equal measure. Love the way you have captured the essence of Alice and Shane as well. ESP Alice is freaking hilarious in her motormouth ways.

I had previously posted this story on another L Word-centric forum before I found LesFan (formerly fanfiction.l-word.com). But to answer your question, no, I have no plans to post it anywhere else.
