Tina fake sniffled “I’m the first and only?..There are no words to describe how special I feel” she sighs heavily as she poured coffee into her cup
Bette rolled her eyes “You definitely overdramatized that. Just leave the acting to me” she chuckles and feels a light slap on her arm “Watch it now.. I hold a knife” she says jokingly as she finishes dicing the garlic clove
“You’d have to catch me first” Tina says slyly as she takes a seat on the barstool watching Bette start dicing the shallot
“Well that shouldn’t be too hard?” Bette says coyly looking up from her shallot and winks at Tina
Tina chokes on her coffee for a moment “Just when I thought you put your player persona away you bring it out” she chuckles
Bette shakes her head “No. I’m just stating facts”
“Oh really..Well let’s just see if you can catch me” Tina challenged as she took a sip of her coffee
“Well supermodel…” Bette began and paused flipping the knife she was holding in her hand up in the air catching it by the handle in the other when it came down and points at her “….You’re on” she finished as she set the knife down with Tina staring at her in shock
Bette chuckles at Tina’s expression while taking the cookie tray out of the oven and setting it down on top of the stove. She then takes the spinach out of the other skillet draining it of excess water before dividing up on the two plates
“Where did you learn to do that with the knife?” Tina asked impressed
“I learned it for a movie role. I played an undercover cop where my cover was a knife juggler in a traveling circus trying to solve a murder”
Tina thought for a moment “Wait…Was that the one where the circus owner had trained a monkey to kill his wife to collect the life insurance he took out on her?” she asks incredulously as Bette adds the tofu to the skillet
Bette chuckles “That’s the one. When you are desperate for a role you take anything. But they really had me do the scene where I’m talking to this monkey and reading him his Miranda Rights along with the owner” she says shaking her head “So humiliating knowing that’s where my career had regressed..Reading rights to a fucking monkey” she says shaking her head in disgust and grabbing a fork from the drawer placing it on the plate before serving it to Tina

This little arrangement between them is getting more and more difficult to control for the two of them. Tina is now admitting to herself that Bette is an attractive likeable woman. Bette is beginning as well behaved as she can. Even being thoughtful by cooking breakfast for the two of them. The sexual tension between the two is still palatable.
And Tina is pressing the limits.
Now that birth Mama has gone back to America (I am assuming), maybe Bette and Tina can have a nice visit to Paris and enjoy the city of lights…

I really really like this story. The cruise was so romantic. I love that Tina vocalized her feelings. Even if it was in French. Too bad Bette did not understand a word. But maybe after that kiss? One can hope. Bette cooking breakfast was a nice touch. Tina modeling lingerie for all the world and for Bette? Such torture. When these two finally do make love it is going to be so hot. Carol still lurks out there to cause mayhem. Let’s hope they are solid and admit they are in love well before the chaos begins. Really missed this story a lot.

Yep hard to resist either of their lips.. It’s good that Tina got to know the real Bette underneath all the bull shit other wise they would never have worked.
A lesson everyone should learn. To just be yourself so the true person you are meant to be with can see you.

I love this story. Love how it is evolving and they are trying so hard to stick to the “rules” while both are falling for the other. My favorite part was the boat ride and Bette watching Tina on the runway. So cool that she was so proud and wanted Tina to know how great she was at her job. Looking forward to the next chapter….
I really enjoyed this story and hoped you’d keep posting! I love the humor and the spin you take with Bette (the down and almost out actress) and Tina (the supermodel)…how it starts with a business arrangement and then they start to fall for each other. But because it’s Bette and Tina, they resist and try to keep it business…ha! When Tina said the words…but in French…ahhh. Loved it…and yes, what if Bette actually knows French? I’m gonna go with that. Please keep posting!
