“This is nice babe” Rachel says looking around as they entered the room. Taylor closed the door and walked over to her bed and sat down.
“Thanks”. Taylor holds out her hand for Rachel who grabs it as she sits down beside her. Taylor gives her hand a squeeze “Well this is it. That’s Emma’s side” she gestures
“Oh. Where is she? I was wanting to meet her you know” Rachel replies looking over at The picture on Emma’s nightstand
Taylor shrugs “I’m not sure. I didn’t expect her to be gone at this time of night” she says curious as to where Emma had gone. She looks over at their bulletin board and sees a note with her name on it “Oh she left a note” Taylor says relieved and gets up to retrieve it. She opens it and looks at Rachel
“She went to see her Aunt” Taylor says and goes back to sit beside Rachel

She didn’t know how long she was walking or where she was walking to but after overhearing her Aunt Kit on the phone outside her restaurant telling someone that she was Tina’s daughter she bolted unnoticed by Kit. She spent the whole time trying wrap her around what she had heard. She was Tina’s daughter. Tina…The only Tina she knew of and that her Aunt would be talking about was Tina Kennard. The Tina Kennard who was her professor and her advisor. Was it really possible that Ms. Kennard was her biological mother. She stopped and pulled out her cellphone and summoned a ride from her ride-share app to come get her at her current location and take her back to the restaurant. She needed answers and wasn’t leaving until she got them

A little while later at Bernadette’s:
Tina was sitting down on the sofa in Kit’s office with Mallory and Kit standing looking at her pensively
“What’s going on here?…Why are you two looking at me like that?” Tina asked suddenly feeling nervous
Mallory and Kit look at each other. Kit nods for Mallory to answer
“Tina? We found your daughter?”
Tina clasped her fingers around her mouth “We?” she says as her voice was muffled. She looked over at Kit who nods
“Tina honey?..” Kit began and walked over to sit down beside Tina who still had her hands clasped over her mouth “I had to get Mallory to confirm my suspicion after you told me your story but it all checked out. The child you gave birth to is….”
“Right here apparently”
Three heads turned in shock to see Emma standing in the doorway. Her arms were folded and her eyes darting around the three
Tina removes her hands from her mouth and stands up looking at Emma “Emma?” She says turning back to look at Kit who was now standing beside her “Emma is my daughter?”
Kit’s sighs but could only nod. Tina turns to Mallory for more solid confirmation
“Yes Tina….She is”. Mallory confirms and Emma walks closer to the three women
“So who is going to start explaining all this to me” She says tapping her fingers against her forearm waiting

Oh boy…. this is not going well. Emma overhearing a phone conversation is not the best way to find out who her mother is. And Tina and Emma finding out in the same conversation is not exactly the sensitive way to find out either. This is a very emotional moment for all of them. Its should take a few moments or even days for everyone adjust to the news before they delve into the whys and the how comes. This is a major event in Tina and Emma’s life. It will be a major event for Bette as well. And for all of them there will remain a question of what next? What will their relationships be? Will Emma be angry? In a way yes – she was abandoned. In a way no – she was given to the most wonderful mother who loved and cared for her more than life itself. And there’s the rub….how can you be angry and grateful at the same time for the same set of circumstances?
Good story… didn’t expect it to go quite this way…. but knew that they would find out sooner or later. Can’t wait to see the next chapter…. write soon as you can.

My oh my! Not totally surprised that everything collided into one big “smack”. But we all know, LIFE does not proceed in a straight line up to the glorious heavens.
Tina should be the first to speak since her wanting to find her daughter was really weighing on her. She should explain the whole story to Emma. And leave Em to decide what her emotions will be.
Bette’s arrival in LA and having to face Kit once again to deal with their issues let alone finding out that Tina is the birth mother. I’m curious if she will end up meeting Tina b4 the big reveal. If so, what will be her reaction to meeting “the” Tina Kennard that Bette only knows to be Emma’s professor. A Prof that’s Emma adores.
Gosh I’m loving the intrigue in this story! More pages Star!! We are a greedy bunch. HeHeHe!

I didn’t expect this so soon, wonder how this will play out!
Oh geez this is all moving quick… Sounds to me that Bette is the one who will be hurt the most by this, especially by her sister being the one to get it moving in right direction with out heads up first. This could really blow up. It will feel like Kit gave her baby away even if it was to her birth mother. She her mom she raised her she will get defensive I fear.
