Tina didn’t doubt for a second that Helena had genuinely wanted to be on this plane with Shane and Mark. And that she wouldn’t have thought twice about it if she had believed that her coming would have made a difference. But the truth was that it wouldn’t have.
The blonde couldn’t hold a grudge against her wife. She knew that she meant well and that she was ready to do anything for her. But she was a business woman. A very powerful one. With all the consequences that it entailed. And that meant that her job often had to come first.
Too often?… Of course.
Tina knew that anybody else would have been crossed. Hell, they would have been absolutely furious at Helena. Like she had herself been more than once.
But she didn’t mind anymore. She loved Helena very much… She would always love her. And in fact, she couldn’t wait to see her… to talk to her…
But how could she mind Helena’s or anybody else’s absence when the one person she really needed on this plane was sitting right beside her. And to tell the truth, nothing else mattered… She would see Helena when they arrived in L.A. In fact, the sooner, the better. It was high time she made things right. For her… For them…
Tina glanced at Bette. The brunette had lowered her head and looked extremely busy rubbing some imaginary stains on her trousers. Tina knew that Shane’s comment must have felt awkward to her… The blonde turned to the window. Yes, it was high time she made things right…
Relieved by Tina’s kind response which had instantly ruled out any potential danger for the messenger to be killed, Shane nodded towards the boys who were now chatting and laughing with James.
“They’re really cute…”
Bette and Tina turned around, and with the gesture, the pain in her shoulder made the brunette wince. She tried to disguise it with a smile towards the kids, but Tina wasn’t fooled.
She looked at Bette’s shoulder, and that’s when she noticed the stain of blood on her shirt, underneath the army jacket.
“Bette, you’re bleeding…” She said with worry, but in a soft voice as she knew the brunette wouldn’t want everyone to fuss over her, especially with the children around.

I know her business keeps her hopping but I think Helena can feel Tina pulling away from her and that is why she is keeping her distance so she wont have to hear her say she thinks they are better off just being friends. Great chapter by the way.

oh boy i thought this would be a happy chapter :P but pff so much drama.. so please let them be together tonight, i can’t stand a sad tina.. and of course it would be heaven for bette if tina choose her! i never got it why tina maired helena in the first place but grr this is too much! i wanna thank you for this update and i’m looking forward to the next :) i hope to see a very happy bette and tina :D happy newyear to all!

If I was Tina I would have left Helena’s inconsiderate but a long time ago. I hope Tina ends it soon so she can truly be with Bette. Have a Happy New Year
