“There…” The blonde finally said, “You should be okay until we arrive. But you’ll probably need a few stitches once in L.A.”
Bette looked at the bandage with a smile.
“Wow, it looks like you’ve done that all your life…”
Tina smiled,
“Well, a war journalist gets to learn a thing or two about first aid while in the field…”
Bette smiled back and nodded.
“Thank you, Tina.” She said with meaning.
“You’re welcome.” The blonde replied softly.
She helped the brunette put back her shirt. But when Bette started to button it up, the blonde gently pushed her hands away and proceeded to fasten the shirt herself… Surprising them both.
Bette held her breath and gazed at Tina who was concentrating on her task, careful to avoid the brunette’s eyes. Just as she had closed the last button, the blonde couldn’t help herself and let the back of her fingers softly caress the delicate skin below Bette’s collarbone. Both gasped and the brunette closed her eyes, reveling in the wonderful feeling. Sensing the intense reaction of her body under Tina’s touch, Bette opened her eyes and gently took the daring hand in hers. Then, finding the blonde’s hazels, she brought the soft hand to her lips and kissed her fingers.
Overwhelmed by their emotions, they both leaned in and their foreheads touched lightly. A gesture that they had become accustomed to, or rather addicted to, lately. They stayed like that for a few seconds, their breaths heavy, as the few seats separating them from the other occupants of the plane provided them with a temporary but most welcome sanctuary.
After a while, Bette lightly nuzzled the blonde’s nose, then she reluctantly pulled away and, grabbing her jacket, she stood up and joined the others.
Tina remained there a few more seconds to compose herself, as she gathered the first-aid kit. Then she took a deep breath in and followed the brunette.

They had been flying for a few hours now. The children had fallen asleep, all scattered around in the seats. Peaceful… Finally safe…
Tina had fallen asleep as well beside Bette. And the brunette had been spending the past half-hour gazing at her lovingly.

You’re killing us. Please let them meet again and talk and above all let Tina talk to Helena and get that over with, then go to Bette. Love this story. PPS

I know her business keeps her hopping but I think Helena can feel Tina pulling away from her and that is why she is keeping her distance so she wont have to hear her say she thinks they are better off just being friends. Great chapter by the way.

oh boy i thought this would be a happy chapter :P but pff so much drama.. so please let them be together tonight, i can’t stand a sad tina.. and of course it would be heaven for bette if tina choose her! i never got it why tina maired helena in the first place but grr this is too much! i wanna thank you for this update and i’m looking forward to the next :) i hope to see a very happy bette and tina :D happy newyear to all!

If I was Tina I would have left Helena’s inconsiderate but a long time ago. I hope Tina ends it soon so she can truly be with Bette. Have a Happy New Year
