Dean End – Chapter 3 (The Mystery Woman)

Alice: Damn it’s tight up here like a vaginal!
Dana: Really Al, that’s exactly what we need to hear right now, sexual references.
Alice: It’s not my problem you still can’t say that word Dana, I mean really.
Alice looked down at her friend as she practically was sitting in her lap because of the small room space.
Jenny: Vaginal. Vaginal. Vaginal! Now shut the fuck up Alice gees.
Alice rolls her eyes at everyone and remained silence the rest of the way back to the old gas station. It seemed to take half the time back then it took to leave from there but now here they were, in the middle of nowhere at the horrible smelling station, with the freak of all freaks, the nutcase cashier.
Everyone quickly got out the car all agreeing without words to leave the woman inside. When they entered the station it was exactly as they left it, almost if no one came to visit after them or ever before, and also again there was no one to be found up front.
Tina: Damn do he ever stay up front and watch for customers, gosh what a fucking weirdo.
Shane hit the bell a couple of times but still no one came to service them.
Shane: Maybe he’s out back, I’ll go check.
Bette: I’ll go with you.
Tina: Babe.
Tina slightly pulled Bette’s arm back with a look of concern on her face.
Bette: T, we’ll just be a minute…you guys look for a phone.
Tina: Be careful babe.
Bette: I’ll be right back T.
Bette pecked Tina on the lips.
Alice: Oops shouldn’t have said that.
Bette: What are talking about Alice, said what?
Bette didn’t try to hide the irritation in her voice, she was annoyed and honestly angry with Alice for accusing all of this in being her fault instead of what it was, an accident.
Alice: I’ll be right back…don’t you know when people say that, they never come back.
Bette: This isn’t a fucking horror movie Alice.
Bette shook her head and followed Shane to the back of the gas station. Alice looked at Tina who still had her eyes on her, and shrugged her shoulders.
Alice: Don’t say I didn’t warn her.
