    ”Aww Baby Girl. You are far from being a bitch and you can’t beat yourself up about that. High School is like that you know. Everyone had their crushes and wished they would have felt the same about them. I know you Bette. You never had a harsh word to say about anyone and you always treated people with respect. You can’t go back and do the woulda, shoulda, coulda. What are you going to do now is the question and what matters in the here and now” Kit explained in a comforting tone.

    Bette lifted her head and rested it against Kits chest.

    ”I know but I can’t help but wish I wasn’t so worried about being with the popular, sexy, beautiful girls then. They were nothing more than empty flings. This girl seems like she had this deep admiration for me that I have craved and longed to receive from a partner….I know I sound crazy but I want to find her…Even just to know her name would be enough” Bette said as she began to sniffle.

    ”Well? Since you don’t have a name why don’t you try checking with your old classmates and see if they maybe remember something about her.  Take things from her entries and try to piece things together that could help you” Kit advised stroking Bette’s hair.

    ”That’s a good idea Kit..I’m not sure why I didn’t think of that..” Bette responded feeling better with Kits encouragement

    Kit pulled Bette up out of her chair and placed her hands on her shoulders.

    ”Well Bette? I see this as fate. You found a Diary that someone wrote about you. Maybe this was meant to happen.  Maybe this could lead you to something wonderful.  But keep in mind it could also lead to something disappointing..All I can tell you is that you should follow your heart but listen to your gut ok”….And Oh?…Before you go. Good luck at your interview tomorrow morning.

    Kit pulled Bette into a comforting hug then pulled away.

    ”Thanks Kit. I love you” Bette replied giving Kit a kiss on her cheek and walking towards the door.

    1. Oh boy… Haleigh is a mess… Sounds like this is not the first time she has called Tina for help or to be bailed out of jail. And there is what 15 or 16 years difference between Haleigh and Tina ages. So Tina and Bette are about 33 or 34 years old and Haleigh would be about 18 or 19 and she appears to be a mess. I think that we can look forward to some more problems for Tina in the future.

      So now Bette has a job in her chosen professes ion – accounting. Maybe she can get on her feet with this job.

      And I understand that Tina is going to have problems separating her personal feelings from her professional judgement. She is still very attracted to Bette… so let’s see what happens.
