    Haleigh gasped her eyes now focused on Tina’s

    “No?….What do you mean no Tina?” Haleigh questioned

    Tina shook her head “I mean No..Not this time..I’m not paying your bail…And I’m not helping you any further..I will get other counsel to represent you but after that I’m done helping you”

    Haleigh scoffed “I’m your sister! You promised Mom on her death bed you would take care of me”

    “Don’t throw that guilt trip on me..It won’t work…Yes I promised her…And take care of you I did!…But I’m not responsible for your choices or your actions Haleigh…You are an adult now..Do you realize how serious this is?…You need to learn from your mistakes and pay the consequences of your actions”

    With that Tina grabbed her briefcase and stood up

    “Tina you can’t be serious!..You are going to leave me here?…In jail?!” Haleigh yelled her face filled with fear watching Tina walk to the door and bang on it before turning back to her

    “It’s time for you to grow up Haleigh..I’m giving you tough love…It pains me to do this but I just don’t see any other way” Tina says just as the door opens. She walks out shaking her head hearing her sister screaming echo out into the hallway

    Bette finished wiping off the counter at the bar, pulled the register, and headed to Kit’s office anxious to tell her sister about the Diary ….She needed some advice on what to do. Bette pushed open the office door startling Kit in the process and quickly set the register down on the desk.

    Bette plopped down in the chair in front of Kit and smiled

    ”Baby Sis? What in the hell is wrong with you? You scared the shit out of me barging in here like that. What’s wrong?!” Kit asked flabbergasted but with a hint of concern

    Bette sighed

    ”I’m sorry..It’s just that I think I am falling someone” Bette said matter-of-factly. Kit gasped and leaned back in her chair in total bewilderment.

    ”Bette? You just got out of a ten year relationship with that bitch from hell. And I hope she stitches her damn fingers together when she is sewing her patterns..But what is all this talk about you falling for someone…With who?” Kit asked incredulously.

    1. Oh boy… Haleigh is a mess… Sounds like this is not the first time she has called Tina for help or to be bailed out of jail. And there is what 15 or 16 years difference between Haleigh and Tina ages. So Tina and Bette are about 33 or 34 years old and Haleigh would be about 18 or 19 and she appears to be a mess. I think that we can look forward to some more problems for Tina in the future.

      So now Bette has a job in her chosen professes ion – accounting. Maybe she can get on her feet with this job.

      And I understand that Tina is going to have problems separating her personal feelings from her professional judgement. She is still very attracted to Bette… so let’s see what happens.
