“Yes, yes I do. I want that. I want to be with you too Tee but do you think it is wise? Is it the right thing to do after what we have been through? Don’t you think we are kind of moving fast here? We haven’t even been in touch for almost five years and we are definitely not the same people anymore. I am not the Bette I once was and I am not sure if you will like it or not.”
“Bette, don’t you think I know that. Of course we are not the same people anymore. We both have changed. I can feel some of the changes in you. But that’s what I am talking about Bette. I want the chance to get to know you better. Please Bette, give us that chance. I know we once were meant to be and we lost sight of that in the past but I want to have it back. I want my meant to be again. Will you do that for me? Are you willing to try Bette? Will you help me get back our forever?”
There was a long pause from Bette, nothing but deep breathing. Tina pulled Bette away from her body to look at her face.
“Bette…?” Tina whispered looking at Bette pleadingly willing Bette to answer her question.
Bette just kept looking deeply into Tina’s eyes. She wanted to find all the answer’s to her doubts that kept haunting her, that wouldn’t let her take this step forward so easily. Her fear of getting hurt and hurting Tina again was so strong that she just couldn’t shake it away.
But when she looked into Tina eyes, she saw the hurt and the doubts that were so easy to read but above all she also saw the longing in them. Tina’s eyes, which she believed were the windows to her soul and which Bette could once upon a time read like the back of her hand, were silently urging Bette to look into her heart and recognize the love that Tina still had for her, that would always be there. Bette’s eyes welled up with tears overwhelmed from what she felt in Tina’s intense gaze. She cleared her throat of the big lump caught in there as she tried to answer, her voice coming out as a hoarse whisper.

That bitch needs to mind her own business. Where does she get off telling Tina who she can and can’t get involved with she’s known Tina all of five years and knows nothing about Bette. What is she in love with Tina or something? PPS

Sounds like this woman wants Tina all to herself. To bad, Tina already belongs with Bette and vice versa.
