    Destined Souls : Chapter 10

    “Yes”

Her answer was rewarded by the biggest smile she had seen in a very long time. Tina couldn’t hold back anymore. She leant forward and kissed the soft lips in front of her while murmuring

“That’s all I want baby. That’s all I have ever wanted”

They stayed like that for a few moments touching their foreheads together and gazing into each other’s eyes until they heard a stomach grumbling demanding to be fed.

Tina couldn’t hold in the giggles as she saw the soft pink rising on her beloved cheeks.

“Looks like someone is not happy huh.”

    “Tee…”

“Aww babe, come on lets see what you got in the kitchen. I will make us some breakfast.”

“That sounds like a wonderful idea. You are a life saver T.”

“That sure I am.” Tina replied making them both laugh.

As they reached the kitchen counter Bette found a hand written note along with some big brown paper bags.

    “What’s this?”

As she picked up the note to read Tina went to inspect the big refrigerator hoping to find something to help make their breakfast.

“Bette…?” Incredulity clearly evident in Tina’s voice made the brunette turn and look at her.

    “Yeah?”

“Of all the changes you could make, you really haven’t changed in this aspect. Your fridge is still as empty as ever. What are you living on, air?”

Tina’s remark was met by a shrug.

“You know I don’t cook. Besides I am hardly home to cook anything.”

Tina couldn’t help but shake her head.

“You are just incorrigible you know that?”

“Yes T, I am well aware of that facet of mine.” Bette said as she made her way to sit at the kitchen counter with a small smile.

“So who’s the note from? What is it about?”

“Oh this? It’s from Jacky. By the way you don’t have to go through the trouble of cooking breakfast T. Jacky got us some breakfast here. She had some meeting to attend this morning so she had to go.”

    1. That bitch needs to mind her own business. Where does she get off telling Tina who she can and can’t get involved with she’s known Tina all of five years and knows nothing about Bette. What is she in love with Tina or something? PPS
