Diary of a Mad Addict . . . Chapter 18
Once again I disrobed and carefully laid my naked body on the cool surface of the bed. I had turned on the light of the coffin-like contraption to warm it up a bit before pulling the top down and over the entire length of my body. Thank gawd I was not claustrophobic as I did feel a little confined encased in the tanning tube. And in a just a matter of seconds the heat from the elongated bulbs which filled the bed made me feel so at ease that I did fall asleep – a deep relaxing 20 minute power nap – just the thing I needed but tried to avoid as I feared where my mind might wander.
No sooner had I begun to drool a little from my open mouth slumber when in my mind, in my dream, I was picturing myself flagging down a big ***** RV with a rainbow flag across its bumper driven by that sea biscuit mush tossin fan fic favorite of nearly every obsessed reader. She was taking a cross country trip and I needed a ride, so she stopped and I climbed aboard. Not really having a plan in mind, she certainly did not object to my suggestion of heading to the hometowns of some of the authors who were missing in action from the site. I also told her there was ONE I really wanted to find and thought we could catch a Broadway show, see a few NYC authors and readers then go look for the ONE. Of course this being my dream, Sea would certainly not object to anything I said. So we high-fived each other and headed to our first stop in search of Fan Fic-ers.
As she drove, I watched the magnificent landscape of our great country pass us by, feeling proud and happy to live in such a land of freedom. We chatted endlessly about all things L, especially about the upcoming season . Not wanting to reveal too much of my private life for fear of scaring her into next week, I did open up a little about my uncontrollable attraction to the site. I told her about seeing a head doctor to which we both concurred that Maries absence from the seemingly endless selection of story tellers was a definite void. We added her to the list of places to stop on our trip thinking how great it would be to meet her and possibly getting a little free advice on the side.

This story is great – and that is quite a confession….hmmm…and quite a repsonse from K. Or will things fly in the next chapter?
