    Diary of a Mad Addict

As I paced back and forth several feet in front of the towel rack, I fondly recalled one of my favorite digs on K’s pysche . . . Her obsession with Bette and Tina was pretty well suppressed but so painfully obvious whenever we read FanFic together or watched reruns of the L. K’s nonchalant attitude about everything L was something she prided herself on, for being an incurable addict like me who resorted to lying and cheating all in the name of the L-Word was completely unacceptable to K.

I smiled to myself as I remembered questioning her judgment about thinking Bette was such a great character. Granted, Jennifer Beals was hot, ***** hot, no doubt, but those good looks could not mask her many shortcomings.

“How can you admire someone who is so manipulative and controlling and in my opinion, just an out and out ***** when it comes to treating her wife with any respect. Geez, K, I thought you were more sensible than that. And I might add, she is a cheater and a liar.”

Yea, that’s all I had to say to get my wife all stirred up and I giggled thinking about beating I took when I refused to recant any of my comments about Bette. And especially in this second season when the Big Bad B woman ate much humble pie before actually becoming a more likeable character, to me anyway. It sure was easy to bait and hook poor ol’ K.

During those first minutes of my incapacitation, I moved around the bathroom as far as my restrictions would allow. I moved toward the doorway to see if I could see K, perhaps sitting in the living room, but the cuffs prohibited me from reaching my destination. I moved toward the sink below the cracked mirror but wound up a few feet short. I slid the cuffs along the towel rack and edged as close to the sink as I could. I even lifted my leg, stretching it as far as I could desperately trying to turn the water on with my toes . . . 1) because I was thirsty and 2) because I thought if the bathroom flooded, K would have to come in and rescue me . . But alas, to no avail.

    1. Beach – You are awesome girl please don’t stop this story…you crack me up along with the sadness that you are realizing the love of you life is with you every day. Thanks for revealing ‘The ONE’ to us. I think Sea is ‘The One’ for me but I have not read chases story but will begin today. keep up the great work girl….

    2. Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat…ah, you get the idea; would keep me from seeking out the ONE. You know the one…the one who makes my sides split with laughter…the one who makes me cry and howl because she’s loonier than a hooker with a yeast infection on Saturday night…that’s right beachy, and why you ask? Let us count the ways, shall we?

““You fuckin pull that rack from its hinges or crack the tile or dent the dry wall I will come in there and pepper spray you after I throw a glass of grape juice all over your piece of shit white tank top. Then I will give a shovel so you can just dig your own grave. So just stop it you moron.”

(DAMN . . . SHE SOUNDS REALLY REALLY PISSED)

“There was even a mobile folding tray, similar to the ones used in hospitals, which K had concocted in case one or both of us wanted to use the computer while bathing.”

“Come on, K, I am sorry that I said you gave me herpes,”

      “(FUCK, HERE IT COMES . . THE “BUT” . . . THE LECTURE . . . THE SPEECH . . . THE PART I DON’T UNDERSTAND . . )” LMAO!

“Little did I know as I kicked started the bike that my wife and my shrink had been conspiring to plan a surprise birthday party for my big “40” next week. Little did I know as I zoomed out of the driveway, not looking back that every single person I knew in my life would be there. Little did I know as I rounded the corner which lead to the highway that I knew so little . . . .”

See what I mean? TBC maybe? Oh I don’t think so. I’d click my way through China as long as a beachnut story was waiting for me at the end of the cyber tunnel. Keep em comin ya nut.
