    Chapter 14 – If it tastes divine then it just has to be devoured…

    Chapter 14

    Bette slammed the door to her room. How could she, how could Tina possibly walk away from that stupid misunderstanding straight into the clutches of another woman.

     

    “Fuck, how could she…?” Bette yelled into the empty room, “how can she just pick up some fucking woman…, in a red, fucking bikini…”

     

    Her mood raged through her as she felt the heat rise in her body.  She was out of the direct sunlight but her body felt as hot as it would have under the midday sun. She knew that if she didn’t calm herself right away she was likely to burst a blood vessel.

     

    “Deep breaths, deep breaths…” Bette muttered to herself as she paced her room.  She looked around suddenly seeing her belongings strewn around the room.  It was so unlike her to be untidy, her usual regime was pristine, everything had a place, even on holiday.  It was testament to how much she had been pre-occupied with Tina.

     

    “Shit.  Shit…, shit…, shit…” Bette said in an angry tone, feeling a lump well in her throat as she suddenly realised she had no idea what to do about the situation.

     

    She mentally weighed her options.  She could go out and confront Tina and the red bikini, she could pack her belongings ready for the journey home tomorrow or she could return to the loungers and try to sensibly move on from the misunderstanding…

    Tina walked up to the loungers that they had been lying on, and if she was honest with herself, she was somewhat surprised to see that Bette was still lying on hers.

     

    “Hey…” Tina said quietly as she sat down, almost ashamed of her earlier behaviour of walking away from this woman.

     

    Bette opened her eyes to Tina’s words, suddenly relieved that she had calmed herself and returned the loungers in time for Tina’s return.

     

    “Hi…, how was your walk? Did your headache go?” Bette replied, calm but still smarting from seeing Tina with the red bikini.

     

    “Uh, yeah I guess…” Tina said as she swallowed hard.

     

    “Did she have some headache pills?” Bette asked as she closed her eyes to the sun and internally berated herself for the words that escaped her lips before she had a chance to stop them.

    15. Hot damn – I’ve missed this story!!!Please give us our Happy Ending! It’s fanfic – we should keep out the drama – and be able to write it right! Most authors never mention “peeing” or “periods” or “shaving legs”…or whatever…so give us our “Bibbidy/Bobbidy/Boo !!!! Our “perfect” fairy tail !
