Carmen got off the elevator with Olivia behind her. She ran over to the ladies and ran up to Alice.
“Alice, what happened? Is she alright? How long as she been here? Please answer me!” Bette got up and carried away a hysterical Carmen. Alice sighed and dropped her head. Bette took Carmen to a corner of the waiting room, trying to get her to relax.
“Carmen, take a deep breath for me. I need you to calm down before I tell you anything.”
Carmen took a deep breath and looked at Bette. “Please tell me what happened?”
Bette crossed her arms and sighed. “She was beaten Carmen.” Carmen’s eyes began to swell with tears, and she felt her heart drop. “She’s resting right now. She has a concussion, busted lip, couple of broken ribs and a black eye.”
“Did any of you guys get to see her?”
Bette pushed her hair away from her face. “No, not yet. Alice and Jenny found her in her apartment, unconscious. We’re just happy they found her when they did.” Carmen nodded her head and wiped the tears from her face. Bette eyed the diamond sitting on Carmen’s ring finger. She looked at Carmen and then at the ring again. Carmen looked at Bette and noticed what she was staring at. She put her hand down and put it in her pocket. “What was that?”
Carmen flung her hair out of her face. “What was what?”
Bette grabbed Carmen’s arm and pulled her hand out of her pocket. “That.”
Carmen sighed and dropped her head. “Olivia proposed to me tonight.”
“And by this, you said yes. What are you doing Carmen? Are you trying to make Shane plunge deeper into this hellhole that she’s in?”
“BetteI don’t know. It was the spur of the moment and I couldn’t just said no.”
“Yes you could have, it’s not that hard to say no.”
Carmen ran her fingers through her hair. “Bette, I don’t know what to do.”
Bette rested her hand on Carmen’s shoulder. “Do you love her?”
“Yes”
“If you love her, you won’t marry Olivia. Do what your heart tells you. You know that in your heart that you will be happy with the one that you truly love.”

I feel bad for Olivia. She’s totally into Carmen, but Carmen isn’t being upfront with her and telling her that she’s in love with someone else.And Shane is doing well in trying to clean up. That’s hard to do. But it’s not Carmen’s responsibility to keep Shane clean (i thought it was unfair for Bette to lay this situation on Carmen like it’s her responsibility to keep Shane clean). Shane is a grown woman and it’s her own responsibility to get her shit together… which she needs to do.I hope it all works out for these 2. They love each other too much for it not to.(can you tell that i’m into this story? i love it. post again soon…i can’t get enough)
Wow , this story got some dramatic twist! I think Carmen should leave Shane alone. Shane needs to get her life back on track and Carmen isn’t helping. I think Shane should try and forget about Carmen, date other people. I mean Carmen accepted the proposal! It’s clear Shane&Carmen love eachoher but I think Shane should dae some other girl , Carmen should stay with Olivia and then when Shane is in good health and have her life back on track she should decide if she wants Carmen back.Update soon!
Will Carman ever be happy without Shane and we know that Shane want be happy without her. Shane will need to change for her self,and let the rest take care of it self. thanks

Damn! Carmen, Bette was right, it ain’t that hard to say ‘no’. Fuck spur of the moment . . . damn!!! I really hope that Shane will keep trying to get clean but for some reason I think that she is going to resort back to her old ways. Unless . . . Carmen hurry up and get her shit in check and dump Olivia, who I by the way do not like. Shane don’t need to let this get her down, hopefully she will go and stay with Jenny or somebody until she gets back on her feet. Anywaysm, this was an off the chain update . . . Damn! Did Carmen have to tell her about the engagement so soon. She could have waited until she got better. It would’ve given her time to sort out her feelings. Not sure how I feel about Olivia just yet. Great chap.
