    “Bette, Tina. It is my honor to be able to do this for you. You two are beautiful together and it brings me great joy to be able to father children that reflect both of you. I can tell from the pictures how beautiful, happy and loved Angie is. Thank you for sharing the birthday photos with me. It looks like you guys had a fabulous time.”

    “We did. I think this was one of the best birthday celebrations that we’ve had for her.” Tina says and Bette agrees.

    “It definitely was and it was great that we were surrounded by so many family and friends that love her.”

    “So have you two decided when you want to start trying for another child?” Marcus asked.

    “We’re going to wait a while but since the sperm donation process takes time we wanted to go ahead and get started, especially since you will be out of the country so much in the coming months.” Bette answered for them.

    “I recall it wasn’t such a quick process that’s why I had a thorough medical examination including HIV testing from my personal physician just last month in anticipation of doing this. I also signed a release for my medical records so that should move things along somewhat.”

    “Thank you Marcus, that was very considerate of you. Do you have time to go to the cryobank with us this afternoon? This way we can get all the paperwork done and you can leave sperm and blood samples today so they can start testing.”

    “Sure that would be fine. I’m in Los Angeles for the next several weeks so they can contact me if they need anything additional. I’ll be heading back to New York afterwards but I won’t be leaving the states until the end of November. Hopefully that will give us enough time to get everything done.”

    “That’s great. Thanks Marcus. Shall we go?” Tina asked after settling the bill for their lunch.

      Love this story and sad to see it will soon be ending.

      I find your writing leads me to other thoughts about my own life. I celebrate my birthday in a couple of days, wish it were with Angie and Alice :)

    2. A new update after a much deserved rest.

      Like SassyGran it makes me sad that the story will coming to a end.

      But there are a few more chapters and i am Looking forward to it.

    7. The good news is that there was a sequel called ‘From Here to Eternal Love’ but it’s not ready to be re-posted. This one needs a major re-write but the framework is there. However finishing ‘Love a bridge between our differences’ is my priority so that comes first. You all are a great inspiration. I really appreciate all the encouragement.
