    “Great..She hung up.  Nice going Tina” she mutters to herself as a voice startles her and she looks to the direction it came from “Huh what?..You scared me!” Tina shoots an amused look at the woman standing in the door way “What did you do now Cassanova?” “Robin you are really an ass you know.

    “Huh what?..You scared me!” Tina shoots an amused look at the woman standing in the door way

    “What did you do now Cassanova?”

    “Robin you are really an ass you know.  How much did you hear?” Tina scowls at her as Robin waves her off

    “I heard enough…Why are you still with her if she doesn’t make you happy”

    Tina deepens her scowl and folds her arms. She really didn’t want to get into this conversation but had to keep up the charade

    “I love her ok.  And it’s not that she doesn’t make me happy.  It’s me I guess.  I don’t know.  She’s good to me and…” Tina pauses and thinks a minute before looking back at Robin “I am not the type to just up and run on someone I love”

    Robin shrugs her shoulders and walks through the door plopping herself in the chair across from Tina’s desk

    “You shouldn’t stay with her out of some obligation. It’s not fair to her and definitely not yourself. I have known you as long as you have been in a relationship with her and to be honest you haven’t been happy for a long time. What’s wrong”

    Tina sighs and leans back in her chair

    “Nothing is wrong Robin.  I just need to show her I love her and I will.  I owe this to make this work and I do love her ok.  I’m going to take her to our conference in New York.  We can go a few days ahead and spend some time together” Tina explains hoping she sounded convincing.

    Robin nods her head and study’s Tina face

    “I have known you for 2 years and in this time we have become really good friends. If I should say though you are my best friend.  I just want you to be happy and I back you 100 percent”

    “Thanks. Now get your ass out of my office” Tina laughs and shakes her head

    Robin stands up to leave and turns back to Tina before heading out the door

    “Oh…Make sure you update your lingerie. I have seen your underwear drawer. No way you can seduce Iris wearing Grandmas best”

    3. I LOVE this story! So glad to see it’s back. Looking forward to reading more, and seeing how it all unfolds.

      The scene when Bette says goodbye to Tina in the hospital, just leaves me in tears.

    4. Perhaps, I do not remember correctly… but you have already change the trajectory of this story. In this story, Tina is a part of the Rocco group out to get Bette, where in the previous one, she was simply a pawn being moved around to trap Bette. She is now under the impression that Bette tried to kill her, where before, she simply deserted her in her hour of need.

      This is an interesting beginning…. can’t wait to see where this goes… Thanks for the re-write… looking forward to the continuation of this story…..
