    “Oh my God Cyrus..Did you piss yourself?” “Shut up! You try having a gun pointed at your family jewels and see if you don’t do the same” “I don’t have balls dude” Alexis quips “No but you would probably shit yourself then” Cyrus scowls Bette glares at Cyrus in the review mirror “I’m sorry Bette. 

    “Oh my God Cyrus..Did you piss yourself?”

    “Shut up! You try having a gun pointed at your family jewels and see if you don’t do the same”

    “I don’t have balls dude” Alexis quips

    “No but you would probably shit yourself then” Cyrus scowls

    Bette glares at Cyrus in the review mirror

    “I’m sorry Bette.  I wasn’t thinking”

    Bette doesn’t respond and refocuses her eyes ahead

    “Come out with us Bette.  Just for a little while..You can leave after ok.  Pleeasssseeeee…. We just want you to join us for once” Alexis pleads and Bette glances in the rear view mirror and a small smile tugs at her lips.

    Alexis Sergione was beautiful.  Long dark hair. Beautiful tanned skin. Dark sultry eyes. Model figure.  She was stunning.   Alexis came in to the organization as a tech expert right after Gio moved the headquarters to New York. Bette was attracted to her there was no denying it.  And Alexis made no secret she felt the same.  Alexis wanted her and pursued her at first but Bette couldn’t bring herself to start any kind of relationship. She was never mixing business with pleasure and she didn’t want to get close to anyone anyway. She never wanted to give her heart to anyone.  And if she wanted to it was impossible.  Alexis understood and she eventually fell for Tony and they have been together almost 3 years. There is still the platonic back and forth flirting that neither of them could quit though. They have made it into a game. They both feed off of it.

    “Fine Alexis.  You know I can’t resist you begging me when it’s so beneath you to do” Bette replies and lightly chuckles

    “Damn right bitch! We only have a few nights here before we go back to New York. Let’s cut loose now that the job is done”

    Cyrus scoffs

    “Wait a minute…You mean Alexis asks you once and you just jump and say yes and I have been after you forever to hang out with us” Cyrus whines

    “What can I say.  I’m a sucker for a beautiful face” Bette says coyly and winks at Alexis in the rear view mirror. Alexis blushes

    Tony glances at Bette and laughs

    3. I LOVE this story! So glad to see it’s back. Looking forward to reading more, and seeing how it all unfolds.

      The scene when Bette says goodbye to Tina in the hospital, just leaves me in tears.

    4. Perhaps, I do not remember correctly… but you have already change the trajectory of this story. In this story, Tina is a part of the Rocco group out to get Bette, where in the previous one, she was simply a pawn being moved around to trap Bette. She is now under the impression that Bette tried to kill her, where before, she simply deserted her in her hour of need.

      This is an interesting beginning…. can’t wait to see where this goes… Thanks for the re-write… looking forward to the continuation of this story…..
