Chapter 31 – Good Intentions (or just a little Pompous)
Alice was just completing her ensemble when Dana came into the bedroom looking for her shoes. Wow you look really dressed up. Where you going looking that good? Dana asks as she slides over to Alice and begins kissing her neck. Dana continued kissing in all the soft spots that she knew would drive Alice nuts.
Quit!!…Oh God dont quit. Alice says as she turns around and takes Danas lips in her own and kissing her with passion and want.
The two spent a long moment lost in each others embrace before Dana came up for air and realized she needed to get a move on if she was to make her training session with her physical trainer. Jake was great but if she pisses him off by being late he just seems to always take it out on her physically. If she wanted anything to be left in the tank after the workout she needed to get going now. God it would be a shame to be too exhausted to have any of Alice tonight. Ah Alice Ive got to go but remember where we left off OK? Dana says in a ***** little voice that Alice found so attractive.
Yeah, go now that Im all worked up, blow me off for that man of yours. Ill just have to go to church to repent. Alice says in a breathless way.
What? Dana now asks confused Church?
Actually thats where Im going, Reverend Pillary has agreed to let me interview him. Its a coo in that I needed my editor intervening to even get the interview. I figured if Im now going to really write about the MYV Foundation I need to interview everyone I can. Wish me luck I think I will need it. Alice says to Dana as Dana is running out the door.
Alice just smiled at the look of love that Dana left her with as she finished getting ready to leave herself.
Alice now found herself waiting in the large and spacious offices of Reverend Jackson Pillary. While Alice had done her homework on the good Reverend before she had arrived she wasnt prepared for the vastness of this setting. Having entered though the churchs main entrance, Alice had been lead through the main sanctuary before arriving at a series of offices off an alcove to the right. She was now sitting in a beautifully decorated seating area off his main office. Alice had never met the Reverend in person before. She had been told by many that he was the nicest guy, down to earth in a church going kind of way. He is one of those people who through their own past good deeds are above reproach. He was a perfect choice for a new foundation which wants to gain creditability quickly. Alice had been waiting here for almost twenty minutes before the door opens and Reverend Pillary himself enters with another man behind him. Alice is immediately impressed with the ordinariness of this man. He seems just as you and me with humbleness about him. Arriving at the chair next to Alice he begins by introducing himself and asking for Alices forgiveness for their tardiness. It seems that Reverend Pillary will not meet alone with a member of the opposite *****, wanting to prevent any allusion of impropriety.

You go ALICE!! No mush today, but I totally loved how Alice defended Bette, herself, as well as all the gays&bis out there. I so agree with the whole marriage thing…why not let two people who love each other join together in marriage?…I’m with chinesegirl though, why would Bette have someone who is against gays be on her board?…all in good time I guess…kick arse job Jwet, loved this chapter!!

No arrows….a little confused, but have not doubt you will clear it up. I guess I’m confused that Bette will have someone so against Gays to be on her board. I’m sure I’ll get over it! Ha, ha.

Down Low and Jwet thanks so much for the words of comfort and inspiration, they mean a lot. I know, I’m going to take my time because to give up now, is to through away the best and only meaningful part of my life…baby steps…baby steps. Jwet – I love that you’re developing all angles of the story and it’s not just Tina and Bette. I’ve read others but, after a while they always railroad into the T&B relationship and the others just make ‘token’ appearances. Thanks for taking the time to make it real. In working with non-profits and for-profits it takes collaborations with all kinds of people for success of the greater good of humanity. Nice twist here…a dose of reality keeps us vigiliant.
