    Author Notes: Over the past week and a half or so, I have received an overwhelming amount of heartfelt and emotional messages detailing how much this story means to many of you. Your warm and passionate messages describing your connection and love for this particular story were humbling and very touching, so I decided to gradually re-post the newer version of Home Again and the sequel. I’ll only be posting on Lesfan, for now. I hope you enjoy it!
    Summary:
    Tina Kennard returns to Los Angeles six years after Provocations.

    Tears begin to well in Tina’s eyes. ”I can imagine….”

    Alice points to herself. ”We didn’t do anything; you didn’t have to leave us too…”

    ”I know. I’m sorry….”

    Alice wipes her tears. ”Well, don’t just sit there; come and give me a hug, blondie….”

    Tina chuckles and immediately stands up and walks into Alice’s arms. They hug for a few beats before they finally pull away.

    ”This the kid?” Alice asks as she nods toward Angelica.

    Tina gently nods. ”Yes, this is my daughter….”

    Alice looks at Angelica. ”Hey, kid, how are ya?”

    Angelica smiles at Alice. ”Hi, I’m Angelica. What’s your name?”

    Alice chuckles. ”I’m Alice, kiddo; it’s nice to meet you.

    ”Yes, it is….” Angelica giggles.

    Alice laughs, and she then looks at Tina. ”She looks just like her….”

    Tina nods. ”I know….”

    ”Does she know you’re back yet?”

    Tina shakes her head. ”No….”

    Alice’s cordial smile fades. She then glances at the floor and looks back at Tina. ”It’s good to see you, but you know this is all kinds of fucked up, right?”

    Tina drops her head, suddenly becoming very nervous again and second-guessing her decision to show her face so soon.

    ”So, is this a visit, or are you back for good?” Alice asks.

    Tina looks at Alice again. ”I landed an Executive job at Alphaville, so I’m here for good….”

    ”Wow…Well, this is going to be interesting…”

    ”Yeah, I know….”

    Alice chuckles and shakes her head. ”No, I don’t think ya do, TK….”

    Tina shrugs. ”Look, I’m not that naïve, Alice. I know there will be an awkward adjustment period….”

    Alice looks down at her watch. ”Yeah, and that period should start in about five minutes or so….”

    ”Does she come in here at the same time every day or something?”

    ”No, not every day, but we have a weekly family dinner. That’s why Shane and I are here. Speaking of Shane, where the hell did she go?”

    Tina glances towards the bar. ”She’s at the bar. I guess not everyone will welcome me with open arms….”

    Alice turns and looks at Shane, nursing a beer. ”Well, she did take it pretty hard when you left. I’m sure Dana will be happy to see you, though. She was sick, ya know?”

    ”Yeah, I heard. How is she?”

    ”She’s great now, still the same Dana…”

    While Tina and Alice are talking, The Planet doors open, and Bette walks inside wearing a pinstriped pantsuit and stiletto heels. She looks around and spots Shane at the bar; she starts to walk over to her when Kit comes running toward her.

    ”Baby sis, I have been trying to get in touch with you. Where the hell have you been?”

    Bette raises her brows. ”Uh, what’s that place I go to every day, and in exchange, they give me money? Oh yeah, it’s called a job. I’ve been at work.”

    Bette takes a second to study her sister’s jumpy behavior. ”What the hell’s wrong with you?”

    ”Let’s go into my office; better yet, let’s go outside and talk for a second……”

    ”Kit, I’m tired and hungry, and all I want to do is sit down and relax. Ok? So, whatever you have to tell me, I suggest you follow me to our table because that’s the only direction I’m going……”

    Bette tries to pass her sister, but Kit keeps stepping in her way.

    The two sisters do the little dance until Bette finally outsmarts the older Porter and steps past her.

    Bette shakes her head, chuckles, and then stops, stumbling over her feet when she sees her ex-wife talking to Alice. She sharply turns her head toward Kit, who only shrugs and shakes her head.

    Bette looks back over to Tina, and now Tina is looking at her as well.

    Bette is so stunned that she doesn’t realize someone else has entered the building.

    ”Hey, baby, can you take Mickey? You know how heavy he gets when he’s asleep. Baby?” A female voice calls as she taps Bette on the shoulder.

    Kit looks at her sister. ”Bette? Bette, your wife is talking to you….”

    Bette keeps her eyes locked on Tina, shocked and confused. ”What the fuck?” she whispers…
