I Will Not Let You Fall

Bending forward onto her elbows, Tina took her head into her hands and pulled at her hair. She clenched her jaw, fighting back the rising tears.

”Is there a possibility of you both coming here for couple therapy?” Dr. Flemming asked gently.

The blonde let out a single rueful laugh. ”Not in this lifetime. Moreover, if she finds out I’ve seen a therapist because of her, there will be hell to pay. Trust me. She’s gonna be livid.”

    ”Why so?”

”Well, because the things I just told you are supposed to be a non-talking point.”

”I see,” the woman said as she stood up and went for her desk. ”I’m afraid that I will not be able to give you an accurate and thorough consultation without your other half, Tina. I am very sorry.”

Tina’s eyes began to fill with tears. She shook her head in despondency. ”I understand…”

Dr. Flemming wrote something down at her desk and then with the piece of paper walked up to the softly weeping blonde, taking a seat beside her. She handed the item over to Tina and spoke, ”This is contact information of my good acquaintance – he’s a criminal defense lawyer with a high level of expertise. Keep it. Just in case.”

”Thank you…” Tina expressed her gratitude, giving the woman a small tearful smile.

    ”You’re welcome…”

The blonde sniffled, eyeing the piece of paper in her hands absently. ”Patricia? Do you think that our relationship is doomed?”

Dr. Flemming pursed her lips and shook her head. ”You have to understand that there could never be any healthy and promising relationship under such extreme circumstances. I would advise you to think about everything with more depth. Ask yourself: is it worth it? Is your life worth to be put in jeopardy at such a young age? Is it worth to be blindly devoted to someone, whose life is so unstable and hazardous?”

Tina sobbed bitterly into a tissue as Dr. Flemming spoke. ”I love her so much, dear God…”

The compassionate therapist stroked Tina’s back, trying to offer some comfort to her crushed client. ”I know, sweetie, I know… But at one point you’re going realize that some people can stay in your heart, but not in your life. The most important thing for that realization not to come too late…”

    1. Wow Valerie, this is too hard, I like how you are taking them down and even downer and it would be a masterpiece to redeem them up. Thanks for the long chapter and waiting anxious for the update. Waiting also for an update your other story

    2. Oh Valerie, you are slowly breaking my heart! How are they ever be able to come out to the good side?

Sometimes it is better to carry someone in your heart and not be in their lives, so true spoken, but again it will break my heart if Tina decided to leave Bette and try to live a normal life.

I still hope that Bette is a undercover agent and not the criminal like she is.

I think Bette should be careful about Tasha, i don’t trust her like Bette.

Thanks for a incredible update again and i look forward to the update on your other story!

    3. Thanks for the update! Happy to see that you still continue :)
But there seem to be no more silver linings at the horizont for Tina and Bette. Bette has to start changing, getting her act together and working on pulling herself out of this mess.
Tina deserves better than a girlfriend who states that she has to run from her or accept the circumstances.
I can’t imagine a way they could survive this mess.

I’m kind of despressed right now but I hope that you will soon continue with you story and give us some positive moments :)
