    ”Are you okay?” Ayola asked gently. The brunette didn’t bother answering. She just covered her face with her hand and shook her head. ”Do you want to get out of here?” Bette nodded. Ayola moved the stuffed with food trolley aside and put her hand on Bette’s shoulder. ”Come on, I’ll drive you home.” ***

    ”Are you okay?” Ayola asked gently.

    The brunette didn’t bother answering. She just covered her face with her hand and shook her head.

    ”Do you want to get out of here?”

    Bette nodded.

    Ayola moved the stuffed with food trolley aside and put her hand on Bette’s shoulder. ”Come on, I’ll drive you home.”

    Tina pulled into the driveway of her West Hollywood house and turned off the engine. Her hands fell limply from the steering wheel into her lap and she leaned back against the headrest, the exhausted sigh she let out being the only sound in the car.

    She stepped into the pleasant cool night air and trudged to the front door, climbing up the porch steps slowly. It was dark and quiet inside the house. Tina stood still for a moment while her eyes adjusted to the darkness. She removed her pumps, massaged her aching insteps and then made her way upstairs.

    Walking into the bedroom, she headed straight to the wardrobe. She took off her suit jacket and hung it in the closet. She heard the rustling of bed sheets.

    ”Tina?” came a sleepy voice from behind her. ”It’s one in the morning.”

    The blonde untucked her shirt from her skirt as she trod closer to the bed. She sat down on the side of the bed and leaned across, kissing her girlfriend in the lips. ”It’s been a long day.”

    ”You’ve been drinking.”

    ”I met Alice at The Planet after work.”

    ”Did you drive?”

    ”I’ve had just one drink,” Tina lied.

    The woman heaved a sigh and pulled the comforter up to her chin. ”Are you coming to bed?”

    ”Yeah. I’m gonna take a quick shower and then I’m all yours.”

    ”Okay,” the woman whispered drowsily. ”I’ll be waiting.”

    Tina tiptoed out of the bedroom, closing the door carefully behind her. She went down the stairs to the kitchen area. She washed her hands, got a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon out of the wine cabinet and poured herself a glass. Leaning her back against the counter, she grabbed a handful of grapes from the fruit bowl, nibbled a few and chased them with a few healthy gulps of wine. She swirled the red liquid in the glass, staring absent-mindedly into it.

      Just had a break when i saw that you posted a new update.

      It is fantastic that Bette is finding her way back in life and has such a wonderfull friend in Ayola.

      So they finally met again, wonder what Tina has to tell Bette. You are such a naughty girl to not disclose it in this chapter.

      Why do i have a feeling that Tina moved on with Helena?! That would be the ultimal betrayal that she could inflict on Bette.

      Can i pursue you to answer that question via a pm to me?! I would go crazy till you update again, so please, please tell me🙏

      What a wonderful surprise, (not only for us but for Bette and Tina too), an excellent story, as Bibi I want to know what is coming; but I’ll wait, I know you’ll never let us fall in TIBETTE’s matter.????

      I think it’s going to be hard, but they have to find their way back to each other, that type of love can’t be downgraded to friendship, it’s a whole thing or its nothing, I don’t think they have more choices.❤

    8. Thanks for the Update!!!
      this is my fav fanfiction so far..
      it breaks my heart seeing how hard for Bette to get her life back..so much that she has lost..
      couldn’t imagine if ayola wasn’t there to help her.
      but i hope they stay their relationship as friend..cos i’m still hoping somehow, somewhere Bette and Tina could find their way back together..and this time Tina could proof her love to Bette by staying by her side as her promised.
      it’s suprised me that Tina has moved on with her life and has lived together with someone else…
      i really thought after Tina read Bette’s handwriting in her apartment, Tina would tried with all her power to proof her love to Bette by keeping her promise to stay by waiting for Bette…

      now that Tina and Bette has met again, please..please…please…. don’t let us waiting too long..
      couldn’t wait to read for the next Chapter..
