I won’t even say goodbye

The noise of gunshots and paddling footsteps were approaching. Then the front door was torn down, a squad of heavily armed swat members headed downstairs to the garage.
“Bette! You need to come with me.” Tina had the confident that no police would want to hurt her. She couldn’t say the same for the drug dealers when they found out her identity. But she needed to keep Bette safe, “you’ll be safe if you come with me.”
“Go now, it’s ok,” the brunette pushed her up and shooed her to continue climbing. Another blow in the corridor shook the building and three men bursted in, two were shot before they could run for cover. The last one jumped behind a statue that was knocked over, and started shooting to the door. Bette waited till she heard a thud of a body dropping outside, and she didn’t blink twice to shoot the last man.
“Jodi!?” A dreaded name was uttered with breaking voice. It came from the upper floor.
The brunette immediately rolled out of the rubble. She searched for Tina, and found her facing another woman. Jodi.
“You dirty little rat. This is all your fault! This is all your fault!” Jodi was hysterical, her dirty blonde hair had fallen in her face, a strand caught in her mouth, “I swear to god I’ll kill you.” Her voice thick with malice, as she revealed a revolver with shaking hand.
Tina backed away from the crazed woman slowly, her back soon met the ornamented railing. There was no way to run. Jodi had the upper hand despite her condition. “Jodi, calm down, there’s very little time I’ll get you out of here. You don’t have to do this. I can guarantee your protection.”
“Shut your trap, stupid bitch! I knew from the beginning, you only use Vincent to get what you want, little cunt.” Jodi spat, and stalked closer, her bloodshot eyes shined with desperation. “I’m not getting out of this, and neither will you.”
The blonde spared a glance downstairs. She was sure that Bette heard the conversation and figured out everything. Her heart sunk. It wasn’t how she planned to tell the brunette about her betrayal, then again, there was never a perfect scenario.

hello my good friends, I am horrified to hear about Lipitora’s accident. It’s really really shocking and terrible. To never drive drunk and to always be careful crossing the road!
I would want to dedicate a chapter to her, but a better one, a happier one maybe. Keeping up my prayers.
As for the content in this chapter, I know, I know it’s depressing. The violence and drug abuse are probably not that easy to read. But it’s crucial to my story. So I tried to cram it all in one chapter. Consider this a transition.
Personally, I have struggled with a mild drug addiction several years ago because of a depression episode. It was not as bad though. But I know there are hundreds of thousands of people suffering from similar disorders or emotional trauma. Drug is never a solution, I promise you from experience.
I love you all and hope everyone is ok.
Peace
Robyn
Wow, that was very hard to read. Drugs or other addictions are never the answer.
I can understand why people do it and i am glad you came out stronger.
It was a poweful chapter.
Thank you for the update!
Sad chapter but let tina find this was a heartbreaking ”dream”.drugs r never the answer they are the problem.pps
Wow, quite a turn in the story. Hopefully Tina turns the corner to recovery. Thanks
Difficult, very difficult, to read and can’t help but be anxious.
Please make it better soon and dedicate it to our dear Lipitora.
wow what movie is this? this is some the best action I read on here, even better than some of the movies that come out….sigh poor Tina, drugs? why? people often mistake that drugs ease the pain, yet they do just the opposite..i loveeeeee this!!
I have to say that i am so happy to see this story being updated. It captivated me from the very beginning. That being said, i have all the faith that this story is headed in the right direction hopefully. Thanks for posting!
I was very touched by this chapter.
I have so much faith in you Roby.
The complete constellation.
My best bear hug for you.
