Bette turns her head to see Tina’s expression of stress and sadness.
Tina’s eyes then begin to water and her sobs take control of her body.
Bette wraps her into a warming embrace trying her best to comfort her as her body shakes and her sobs continue.
“Just let it out.” Bette whispers to her while placing kisses on the top of her head.
“Do you think there is a way to make Tina confess to the murder? Like, put her words into a recording? You know how people can take recordings and slice together individual words and create a something fake?” Nicki says sitting across from Kelly.
“Not without her saying similar words. And someone with very great technology skills.”
“Yes, the chick that became the director once they fired Tina. She was always good with technology crap. Maybe she’ll do it if we pay her good enough.”
“We would first have to explain to her what is going on.”
“She’ll do anything for money. I was also thinking you could visit Bette and Tina’s house and plant microphones around the house?”
“This is an awful lot.”
“Look, I’m paying you. It’s my ass that murdered Jenny. And it’s not going to be my ass that goes to prison for it.”
“Tasha, I know the kind of person you are. I thought of this idea because of how good you are at your job.” Alice says unlocking her apartment door.
“That is not doing my actual job. That is breaking the law.”
“No one is going to think anything of you doing anything with this case.”
“Do you even realize what would happen to me if I were to get caught?” Tasha says throwing her coat on the sofa. “I could spend years in prison and Tina would be with me.”
“I know this isn’t the greatest idea.” Alice sighs. “I get that but Tina needs our help. Someone is fucking with her. We can’t let her go to prison for something she never did.”
“There has to be other ways to find this information out. There has to be something else we can do that doesn’t fuck with the law.” Tasha says stepping out of the kitchen with a beer. “Didn’t the police say Niki was the one that said she saw Tina with Jenny?”
