    “Really ?”

    “Let me ask you something – did you get a single ticket for a Broadway show the other Thursday ?”

    Tina looked in amazement “Oh my God “

    Bette laughed “Exactly – you didn’t show up or you and I would have met then “

    “God – that makes sense – my mom went crazy with me and I couldn’t work out why – the devious old devil “

    Bette laughed – Tina was staggered by the revelation but also by the wonderful laugh that Bette had – this was very hot woman and her mother had been trying to set her up with her – Tina wasn’t sure whether to kill her mom or strangle her.
    “Can I sit down ?” Bette asked – she was taking in Tina with a seasoned eye and liking very much what she saw.
    “Oh sorry – of course – would you like a drink ?”

    “I’ll get them – white wine ? “

    “Yes – I am sorry – I am just taking all of this in “

    “It took me a while to fathom it all out – I won’t be a minute “

    Bette walked back to the bar aware that Tina was watching her. Bette knew the power of her sexuality
    and just a slight alteration in her normal gait was usually enough to just increase the effect she had on the right woman.
    Tina watched as Bette walked to the bar – OMG – what a killer ass – there was no way that Bette wasn’t a serious runner or trainer – she was just delicious and that was an understatement. As Tina lost herself in what a really sexy woman Bette Porter was she was also trying to assimilate her words . Their mothers were trying to set them up – her mother had decided that she thought that she should be dating Bette Porter. Wow well mom – thank you for setting your sights so high for me.
    Tina knew that her mother wanted the best for her – she just didn’t believe that she was capable of getting the high quality woman that Bette Porter was –it was nice that her mother had thought it was a good idea. All the same Tina didn’t like anyone interfering in her life – she was her own woman and if she made a mess well at least it was her own mess.
    Bette returned and placed a glass of wine beside Tina’s other glass.
    “Thank you “

    2. Thanks for posting! I love the shenanigans that Tina and Bette are plotting. Let’s get their moms a little more desperate that their plans seems to fail a few more times. ;-)
