Just The Girl 2.0 – Chapter Two (based loosely on HYD: Returns)

“Remind me to bring her back a fucking jellyfish from Maldives.”

    —–

Bette didn’t get much sleep last night. Actually, it was safe to say that she didn’t get much rest at all. And no, it wasn’t because Tina kept her up with a marathon of pleasurable nighttime activities – cause really, the only ass that her hands couldn’t get enough of touching last night was her own. It was the unbearable itch that kept her awake – and she couldn’t remember how many times she had wished to fill the tub with calamine lotion and drown herself there. Her doting girlfriend had as much shut-eye as she did, and though Bette didn’t want to wake the sleeping blonde, her constant tossing, turning and groaning managed to do so. So they stayed awake most of the night – keeping their conversations soothing and touches innocent and light. It was a first for the pair; normally, they’d welcome their journey into a foreign land with a succession of uninhibited loving that went on till the sun came up. But now that they were in the third day of their five day sojourn to Maldives, they found themselves far from doing the deed. Yes, they had sex in the plane on the way to the island – but that didn’t count. And now, sitting inside their honeymoon suite by herself, Bette didn’t know what frustrated her more – the pain she felt on her ass, sleep deprivation or the fact that she was missing out on some fantastic tropical island sex.

Maybe it was a mixture of all three, but for the meantime, sleep deprivation weighed more than the rest. Feeling greatly exhausted all of a sudden, she left the balcony and forced her heavy legs to the living room. Stopping by the edge of the couch, she allowed herself to drop face first unto the cushion, ruffling the tiny pillows and sending a couple to the floor. Exhaling loudly, Bette closed her eyes and graciously let the fatigue she felt overwhelm her and take over her body. It didn’t take much time for her to fall into deep slumber. She didn’t know how long she was unconscious, but judging from the moving shadows on the wall when she finally woke up, she had guessed that it had been a significant amount of time.

    1. Brilliant, as always, Alchemy. Your dialogue and descriptions are so funny. The image of itchy, swollen Bette is just hilarious, especially the breakfast scene. I always look forward to your posts as they brighten any day! Thanks so much for continuing this story.

    2. A hairbrush is a good way to help relieve the itch. Damn jellyfish and other stinging things. I guess that the economic situation is even hitting the fan fiction stories. I love Bette and Tina with their humor along with their love.

    3. Poor Bette, she is too young to be in this economical dilemma. Is it that bad?, is she afraid she has to reduce the number of employees by firing them?, O Alchemy, I’m really hooked up and want to know what will happen :)

    4. Okay… after the fun in the sun with Alice and Shane, and Bette’s… unfortunate (but funny)… bite on her derrière, I’m now worried. Why are the number of employees significant? Is Bette worried about the sheer amount of people she’ll have in her employ? What’s going on with Melvin? What’s happening with PGC? It’s all very ominous, but very gripping. Love the story, thanks Alchemy.

    5. Have I told you I LOVE this story?? Their bantering is so funny & I love both the tenderness & the roughness between them. As you know the “…” are my favorites- they speak volumes..I mean I can SEE the expressions on their faces! And now you leave us hanging tooo…You are SO VERY AWESOME!!

    6. Ok ack to reality humhum. Number of emplyee making Bette seek? Why? trouble trouble trouble. Tat was great love it as usual and sooooo funny. PPVS

    7. That was great, funny about Alice and Shane. Poor Bette about the itchy lol, that was funny and cute. Now let see whats going with the Porters business. Please post more, thanks!
