Just The Girl 2.0 – Epilogue

“Lucy.. Lucy.. Lucy.. Lucy..” The four chanted, rubbing it in.

    “Shut up!”

The girls giggled once more, furthering the lone boy’s annoyance.

“What are you doing here anyway? Go back to the swings before you give me cooties!” Lucien, the boy, barked.

“But we want to play here.” Angie, the lead girl, retorted; a hand on her hip.

“I was here first.” The boy snarled, his brown eyes flashing in anger. Instinctively, his hands reached for the toys strewn around him, holding on to them like a territorial animal protecting his young.

Not in any way intimidated, the blonde girl and her posse held their ground, returning the boy’s angry gaze with an equally threatening one of their own. “Miss Coleman told us to share, right?” The blonde alpha looked at her friends, who in turn, nodded their heads. “But look, Lucy here doesn’t want to..”

“I don’t share with girls. Specialty with ugly ones.” The boy smirked arrogantly.

Especially, stupid.” Angie corrected, rolling her eyes.

Without warning, the boy hurled the toy shovel at the unsuspecting girl, hitting her square on the knee.

    “Ow!”

“Nobody calls me stupid.” Lucien thumbed at his nose, a frown on his face. He grabbed the pail next. “Run away now or else..” He threatened, waving his free hand and shooing the girls away. When they didn’t move, he threw the object at them.

“Ouch!” Another one of the four girls yelped.

“Stop hurting girls!” Angie screamed, furious.

“I’m not hurting, I’m throwing.” The boy pointed out calmly, emphasizing his statement by throwing another toy. “You ugly girls are just too stupid to dodge.”

“Ow!” Yet another girl cried out, clutching her arm.

“You’ll pay for that you jerk!” Angie threatened, balling her fists and stepping inside the sandbox, ready for a bloodbath.

“Go ahead..” Lucien challenged, cocking his chin at the blonde hovering before him. “Make-up my day.”

“Huh?” Angie stopped, bewildered. “You want me to put some make-up on you?”

“What?” An equally puzzled Lucien asked. Make-up my day.. that’s what those tough guys on Cartoon Network always say right?

“I have my Bratz lip gloss with me!” One of the little girls volunteered, raising her hand.
