Just The Girl – Chapter Four (a HYD-inspired fic)

    Oh, it was so on.

    ————————–

Tina slowly made her way inside her classroom. She skipped homeroom entirely and was just going in right in time for the first class. She had her head slightly bent down and her arms ready to protect her face just in case her classmates were anticipating her arrival and were angling to throw things at her. Weird, she thought as she stood by the doorway and watched as her classmates totally ignored her presence. Well this is certainly a let-down, she shrugged as she walked the few steps towards her desk by the window. Not that I’m complaining though, she thought as she dropped her leather case on the floor directly beside her desk and smoothed the back of her skirt as she prepared to sit down. The next thing she knew, she was sitting on the floor, feeling an immense, throbbing pain in her ass as her chair gave way and came crashing on the floor. It was only then that she noticed the screwdriver on top of Stephanie’s desk.

"Oh shit." Tina muttered as she slowly attempted to stand up. I should’ve seen that one coming, she grimaced as her classmates laughed all around her. As she stood up, she saw a pair of eyes looking at her sadly. "Hi Da–" She tried to say, but she stopped short when she saw Dana quickly turn her back at her.. as if she didn’t want to acknowledge her presence or the fact that they’ve known each other for years. This hurt Tina more than falling on her ass. She looked at Dana’s hunched form for a minute before she made her way to the back of the room to grab a spare chair.

    ————————–

Recess came sooner than expected and Tina found herself gunning towards the stairwell to go to her safe place, the balcony on the third floor. The bell had barely sounded when Tina ran out of the room to escape from the other students. She was about to take a step up when she felt a hand sharply tug her ponytail. A surprised yelp left her lips as she was thrown back, her ass once again landing on the floor with a loud thud.

    1. So my heart is broken that after Tina protected her Dana turned into a coward who didn’t stand by her friend. However, I am glad to see Tina refuse to break in front of egomaniac Bette. Hopefully too much damage won’t occur between the two.

    2. i have to agree lauraMP, ive only commented once before and i’ve read this fiction for a couple of years but i’m loving this!! It’s hard to hate bette even when she’s as nasty as this – love the sparring between the two though…keep it coming!!

    3. nice school… where are the teachers… and those other kids… what the hell is up with them… at least jenny stayed her friend… now dana is the strange one… but it does look like bette has met her match… PPS
