Just The Girl – Chapter Four (a HYD-inspired fic)

"What’s the rush?" A short haired girl with a stocky built hovered over Tina. "Wasn’t there are rule about running in the halls?" She turned to her minions who were standing right behind her. They nodded their heads menacingly as they eyed Tina.

Tina attempted to stand up but the leader of the pack kept her down on the floor with a foot to her chest. "Ow!" Tina exclaimed as the girl added more pressure. She was thankful that she was wearing a vest as it prevented her from feeling more pain.

"Where do you think you’re going, Kennard?" The short haired girl sneered as she watched Tina struggle from under her foot.

Tina closed her eyes. Twenty lessons of Judo, she prayed, please don’t fail me now. She opened her eyes as she quickly gripped the girl’s ankle with both of her hands. She twisted it hard and pushed with all her might. The short haired girl and her lackeys were caught in surprise as she came tumbling down on the floor. Tina took advantage of their distracted state and continued her journey up the stairwell.

Well.. Tina never made it past the second floor. She passed by a couple of students on her way up and soon enough, she found herself being carried outside and into the dumpster. She made it back to the classroom a few minutes later smelling like rotten food.

    ————————–

Lunch was no better. She decided to steer clear from the cafeteria and eat somewhere private to avoid the mob. But the student body had other ideas. As soon as she stepped out of her classroom with her lunch tucked under her arm, she was whisked away by some students and brought to the cafeteria. A huge cheer erupted as soon as she passed through the doors. She was dragged to the middle of the huge hall where the tables and chairs had been moved to create an open space. The ladies who brought her there joined the crowd that was forming a circle around her. She glared at the girls as she slowly walked around in small circles, looking for an escape route. Finding none, a frustrated sigh escaped from her lips.

    1. So my heart is broken that after Tina protected her Dana turned into a coward who didn’t stand by her friend. However, I am glad to see Tina refuse to break in front of egomaniac Bette. Hopefully too much damage won’t occur between the two.

    2. i have to agree lauraMP, ive only commented once before and i’ve read this fiction for a couple of years but i’m loving this!! It’s hard to hate bette even when she’s as nasty as this – love the sparring between the two though…keep it coming!!

    3. nice school… where are the teachers… and those other kids… what the hell is up with them… at least jenny stayed her friend… now dana is the strange one… but it does look like bette has met her match… PPS
