Jaeil: [realizing what she had done kneels down staring at her] You attempt to take own life?
Alani: [in a defeated tone] It is what’s best.
Jaeil: For whom?
Alani: All.
Jaeil: [sternly gazes at her] Including me?
Alani: Yes.
Jaeil: What purpose what I have to want you dead you are the future queen of——-.
Alani: [slightly raising her voice and meeting her gaze for the first time] I am no queen it is simply a title given not earned.
Jaeil: Whether you choose to acknowledge it so it is your birth right.
Alani: A right I do not want I have never been strong enough to succeed the throne that right belonged to my sisters they were born to follow in my mothers footsteps my life has never held purpose just merely gazed upon as the queens weakest daughter nothing more.
Jaeil: Have you questioned why your life was spared and there’s were not?
Alani: [tears fell from her eyes] Daily.
Jaeil: Your conclusion?
Alani: It was absent judgement by the Gods.
Jaeil: The Gods make no mistakes.
Alani: [her response caused a confused expression to appear on her face] The Gods? I thought you did not believe in the Gods?
Jaeil: I do not….but I believe you have intrigued them to reconsider.
Alani: The odds do not favor me.
Jaeil: You defied death and fate despite all your heart still beats to chest.
Alani: Made possible only by you stilling the lives of those women on my——–.
Jaeil: [suddenly angered raises her voice] I DID NOT STILL THE LIVES OF MY PEOPLE IN YOUR HONOR!
Alani: [taken back by her anger scoots away from her completely frightened]
Jaeil: [gazing at the fear oozing from her pores she did not mean to raise her voice frightening her. She was not angry about the decision to still the lives of her people she was angry she was placed in the position to do so.]
Alani: [at that moment the visual of the beheading flashed through her mind]
Jaeil: [attempts to calm herself but it was too late Alani slowly stood to her feet heading towards the kitchen door. Extending her arm to open the door she was surprised when she felt a hand upon her wrist. Careful not to injure her further Jaeil turns her around to face her only to discover she was crying.]

Ok, first this quote “While she continued to think, she made a promise to herself when she came face to face with her sister again after greeting her with a warm embrace next she would place foot to ass!” That made me ???? loud!
Second, why wrote Gaia that letter to Kit? I can’t remember if you mentioned it earlier in one of the previous chapters.
Bette finally knows the truth about her daughter and then fainted, poor woman. Kelly wanted to set Bette free, because Bette would indeed stay with her out of obligation. Very noble of her, but i don’t trust her and never wil.
I wonder what wil happen when Bette wakes up from her beauty sleep ????

Once they arrived in Natticulus Gaia and Kelly had a little chit chat it was during that conversation Kelly revealed she had a daughter. Later on it was revealed her daughter was in Nephele with Tina and Kit. Not wanting to expose Bette to the possibility without concrete proof Gaia wrote Kit a letter to get further confirmation unaware that both Tina and Kit had already discovered who Eva was.
