Alani: [extends her injured wrist while cautiously secured the towel wrapped around her]
Jaeil: [extends her hand for her take]
Alani: [placing her hand into hers she allows Jaeil to place her hand under the running water]
Jaeil: [grabs what is needed to tend to the gaping wound on her wrist]
Alani: Gratitude for all.
Jaeil: [responds by smirking at her] Do not get used to kind gesture.
Alani: Why not?
Jaeil: [looking at her smiling] It is not who I am.
Alani: The past few minutes you have managed to smile more than ever since we crossed paths.
Jaeil: I do not know why it feels unsettling.
Alani: Do it often and it becomes a thing of habit.
Jaeil: [smirks at her in response] I’ll try to remember that [she says before cleaning her wound]

[Staring down at the lifeless naked body of her tactical planner laying on the table there were no words to describe her anger. Her body had been thoroughly cleaned, her wound attended to, prepped, and now awaiting to be returned to her family for burial. Those surrounding Jennicus were happy to see their queen showing emotion towards a fallen devoted follower and high positioned member of her council.]
Jennicus: A lone assailant penetrated defenses entering into fucking city unnoticed how!?
Lead General: Your majesty it was discovered she dug an underground tunnel enabling her to gain unauthorized access within the city.
Jennicus: Tunnel?
Lead General: Yes, your majesty.
Jennicus: [devilishly grinning] Clever cunt.
Lead General: Soldiers have been placed outside the city walls I can assure you this matter will not occur again.
Jennicus: My enemy penetrated city walls getting close enough to remove the light from my eyes!
Royal Guard: But she did not.
Jennicus: [rising her voice] SHE HELD OPPORTUNITY!
Lead General: Your majesty, you are alive and———-.
Jennicus: [cutting her off] IF PUT IN SAME POSITION I WOULD HAVE SEVERED HEAD FROM FUCKING BODY!
Royal Guard: Is it known who is responsible?
Lead General: Give name and see her blood spilled onto the ground!
Jennicus: [in a dry sarcastic tone] Servant.
Lead General: [turns her head] Meaning?
Jennicus: [yelling] YOU ASK NAME IT IS FUCKING SERVANT MEANING SHE IS NO ONE!

Ok, first this quote “While she continued to think, she made a promise to herself when she came face to face with her sister again after greeting her with a warm embrace next she would place foot to ass!” That made me ???? loud!
Second, why wrote Gaia that letter to Kit? I can’t remember if you mentioned it earlier in one of the previous chapters.
Bette finally knows the truth about her daughter and then fainted, poor woman. Kelly wanted to set Bette free, because Bette would indeed stay with her out of obligation. Very noble of her, but i don’t trust her and never wil.
I wonder what wil happen when Bette wakes up from her beauty sleep ????

Once they arrived in Natticulus Gaia and Kelly had a little chit chat it was during that conversation Kelly revealed she had a daughter. Later on it was revealed her daughter was in Nephele with Tina and Kit. Not wanting to expose Bette to the possibility without concrete proof Gaia wrote Kit a letter to get further confirmation unaware that both Tina and Kit had already discovered who Eva was.
