“Let’s get into bed,” Tina said. She stood and removed her slacks as Bette climbed in. Tina crawled in on top of her and started kissing her neck while hands wandered in both directions.
“I’ve missed you so much,” Tina whispered as she started to move down Bette’s body.
They moved together as if they’d never been apart, their intuition telling them just how to respond at each moment in time.
Tina kissed Bette’s inner thighs, continuing the teasing that had started their evening together. She was soon savouring an intimate taste of her, thrilling at the sensation of Bette’s fingers running through her hair as she moaned her approval of Tina’s actions.
Bette moved rhythmically against the touch of Tina’s mouth as her breathing occurred in shorter bursts, punctuated by quiet whimpers of pleasure as she came. Tina kissed her way back up to rest beside Bette’s exhausted body.
“I missed you too,” Bette said quietly. “Let me show you how much.”
Tina’s promise of an early night was superseded by Bette’s desire. They woke just in time to haphazardly throw some bedding on the couch to keep up the pretence that they were strictly in a parenting arrangement, for the sake of their daughter.
Chapter 13
Tina was the first to stir the next morning. Her body lay prone on the bed, the sheets tangled around her legs as she lifted her head up from under a pillow. She felt Bette’s forearm across the small of her back and quickly sat up to look at the clock.
“Fuck,” she said.
The one word, in addition to Tina’s movement, was enough to rouse Bette
“What’s wrong,” Bette asked groggily.
“I have to put some blankets on the couch or Angelica will know we slept in the same bed,” Tina grabbed the duvet from the floor and the pillow from her side of the bed after hastily putting on some clothes.
“Come back to bed, Tee, she won’t be up yet. She was exhausted.” Bette reached for Tina’s wrist in an effort to pull her back into bed. “Besides, wouldn’t you rather enjoy what time we have left before you have to go?”
Tina let herself be pulled back onto the bed. Truth be told when she turned to see Bette’s bronzed body in stark contrast to the cream coloured linens, she almost crawled back in of her own accord.

I certainly remember this story and I love it more now. Thanks for updating the language so the profane language is present. It’s not that I am a complete potty mouth but let’s be realistic. Several of the stories that have transferred over have blanks or asterisks instead of the actual language. In my opinion, when this happens, the stories lose some of their authenticity and the characters lose their edge. I realize that it takes effort to fill in the blanks especially in longer stories. So thanks for doing that.
I find stories harder to read with the asterisks inserted…it’s like a jolt of reality interfering with my escapism. I had to get to the task of editing them out. I do plan to work on more stories; some easier than others because of where the files are. This story was first posted almost 10 (!) years ago, so the digital file was more challenging to retrieve. I’m not much for cursing, but the occasional well placed F-bomb can really get someone’s attention.
@JKS I can’t believe this story is almost 10 years old! It reads now as fresh as it did then. I really love your stories because they are so well written with realism, humor, sarcasm and authenticity. It also helps that for us ORs (Original Readers), it follows canon for the characters and storylines. :-)
