    Bette and Tina, come face to face *Ding!*

    Previously in chapter 17:

     

    Bette now slowly traced her index finger down Tina’s lips and onto her chin where Bette slowly lifted Tina’s head up to meet her eyes.  “Tina,” Bette continued, “Can I kiss you?”

     

    “Yes,” Tina finally found the word she was searching for as she whispered it softly.  Never in her life had she been so sure of an answer, yes, yes, yes, she wanted to shout out her response, because never in her life had she been so crazily in love.  The woman standing before her had stolen her heart from the beginning.  Yes, if only it were that easy to respond to Eric’s proposal.

     

    Chapter 18:

     

    Tina closed her eyes and tilted her head up to provide Bette with better access to her lips.

     

    “Yes,” was all Bette needed to hear before she placed her awaiting lips onto the beautiful blonde that stood so close in front of her.  Using the outer side of her fingers, Bette removed them from Tina’s chin and slid them across the outline of Tina’s jaw structure where she traced that imaginary line. Meeting Tina’s locks, Bette stretched out her fingers and intertwined them together pulling her in for soft kisses.

     

    Meanwhile, Bette’s left hand found itself rising.  It crawled up Tina’s lower thigh, up to her hips, and Bette finally settled them onto Tina’s waist, pulling her in closer by wrapping her arms around her waist.  Meeting face to face and hip to hip only had the two women craving more.  No matter how close they came into contact, they just weren’t close enough.

     

    ‘What is she doing to me?’ Tina asked herself.  With the initial first kiss Bette placed on Tina, she knew it was over.  There was no way Tina could ever sustain herself from not going crazy, and she was getting weaker by the second.  Uncontrollably, Tina’s arms found themselves raising, and wrapping itself behind Bette’s neck for support.

     

    For each kiss Bette placed on Tina, Tina felt herself sinking deeper into Bette’s touch.  Everything she had been worrying about: school, teaching, Eric, and his proposal last night; all seemed to have vanished.  It was as if Bette had become her haven shielding her from everything she didn’t want.

    4. I’ve been waiting and hoping for a new chapter. Thank you for not forgetting us. This was great and I love Joanna’s reaction. I wonder how dumb Tina’s mom really is? Then again, she may be on denial. I hope this doesn’t bring drama into B&T starting relationship. Although, I’m afraid it will. But I suppose not everything can be smooth sailing. I was just hoping that these two could have a drama free beginning as a couple. Kiitos!
