Tasha’s eyes peer over at Carmen. There’s definetly a slight interest being detected. Carmen’s smile is warm and well meaning.
Tasha: You’re alright. Just unwinding.
Papi makes her way back to the table with more beers for all three of them. She places the beers on the table and takes a seat.
Papi: Come on, guys. This is a party. This is the Welcome Back Party!
Tasha: We’re partying just fine.
Papi: You see, Carmen that’s what I like about her. She got a real dry since of humor and shit.
Carmen: It comes in handy if she hangs around you long enough.
Papi: Aww please…
Carmen notices a slight grin form from Tasha’s lips in amusement.
Carmen: You have nice smile.
Tasha immediately places the bottle of her mouth and drinks some more.
Papi: Tasha’s real reserved, man but once you get to know her, she opens up and you’ll find she’s one of the coolest girls around. ‘Ey, Carmen, when’s your girl, Lara gonna make another of those pies?
Carmen: I don’t know, Papi. But she’s happy you liked it.
Papi: Well I would tell her she how much I liked it, but you got her on some kinda leash from me.
Carmen: Oh, bullshit. I just don’t want you trying to get in her pants.
Papi: You shouldn’t be so scared about people getting in each other’s pants, man. I’m sure Lara’s a big girl who can take care of herself.
Carmen: She doesn’t need the stress…and besides…I don’t think she’s interested.
Papi: Shiiiiiiiiit… You know I don’t get rejected. And she seems like a really nice girl-
Tasha: Papi.
Papi: What?
Tasha: Shut the fuck up. She doesn’t want you fucking her friend. So don’t fuck her friend.
Papi: Excuse me? And who-
Tasha’s eyes pierce for just a split second, which is all that is needed.
Papi: …Alright, man. You know I’m just fuckin’ with you, Carmen.
Carmen: Yeah, but…try to understand…it’s not a good time to.
Papi: Well hey…fuck it, let’s party. Drink up, ladies!
Carmen’s thoughts vary from one place to another…from one person to another.
The baby, Angelica is asleep as Bette and Shane talk in the bedroom. With Angelica in her crib, Bette sits at the edge of the bed while Shane sits at the head, her back against the wall.

Paige/Lara = cute, Carmen/Tasha = hot, Bette/Shane = O.oa Eh, maybe as a hook-up like that whole Lace (Lice! *ducks*) thing, just to deal with pain. Other than that I don’t have much to say. PPS!

Bette and Shane, this could work especially now that Shane has calmed down. I like Tasha and Carmen and Paige and Lara. Altlhough Lara and Carmen could be great also. That just leaves Papi? Love how Tasha keeps Papi under control.
I’ve decided that I won’t attempt to guess the pairings. But I will say that I enjoy this story and love how you’re writing it. Thanks Kace.
Yeah, probably like Lara and Paige better than Paige and Shane, to be honest… as for the others, I’m getting some sneaking suspicions of pairings… don’t want to say anything… but I have some ideas… Intriguing, Kace.
