Love In Control – Chapter I – Savannah (Part 1)
Rian sighed. Time she stepped up, put her armor on, and confront Hurricane Bette, the way Tina had asked her to.
She took a deep breath and approached Bette slowly. She gave her the most confident grin she could muster when the irate brunette slid a look her way. “I need your help,” Rian mouthed, improvising on the spot. “I think I overdid things in the treadmill.” She limped a little for emphasis as she drew close.
Immediately, Bette’s demeanor changed.
“I’m sorry, Jackson, but I have to hang up now. Okay, please hire that firm, review their plans and ask our people to put their specialists’ travel together. Have them fly out at the earliest, and make sure they understand we want an honest report from them. When they get there they’re not to simply rely on the work of the other people, I want them to dig into documents and take pictures of things if they have to ….. yes, I know you know the drill. Sorry about being a hard-ass. Thanks for everything. I’ll talk to you tomorrow… okay, bye.”
After she hang up, she was about to ask Rian about how she was feeling when they heard a voice boom from somewhere behind them.
“Rian!”
They turned around simultaneously, eyes widening in surprise when they saw a …. bear of a man …. close the distance between them and him in an alarmingly quick fashion.
“I’m Ed! Ed Wiltjenz!” He extended his hand when he got to within a few feet of them in no time at all.
“Aerin’s trainer,” he explained. “She asked me to come over. You were the one on the treadmill, right? She thinks you may need some help with stretching. I could also give you a few tips on how to run properly, what precautions you need to take…”
He enveloped Rian’s hand in a large, surprisingly soft paw and shook her hand carefully, as if mindful of how strong he was. Bette’s mouth fell open, her earlier angry mood completely dissipated; but all Rian could think about was the somewhat unexpected smell of baby oil that wafted from him.
They both had to raise their chins to look at him, now that he was standing, or towering, over them. He was well over 6’4” and as broad as a door, chiseled like rock, and bald so that his head looked like it was just another muscle.

Loved the start of another story with these characters. Thanks
Wow! I loved it!
This statement of Bette and Tina was at the end
of chapter was pure poetry.
The entire constellation.
No way, you are back!
I am very happy to read your story and i truly love it!
B&T, god , still so much in love.
I am looking forward to the next update!
Where to start Skydancer……..? You’ve taken us on some wonderful journeys, introducing us to your alluring cast of characters. In addition to your version of Bette and Tina (which I absolutely adore), you’ve let us have a front row seat into the lives of Aerin, Harley, Jade, and Rian, each deep, rich characters in their own right. Now you’ve started us on this new, exciting journey with your ensemble cast, that will hopefully end with each in control of their loves and their destinies.
I hope that when Rian finds that switch to her spotty memories, she’s ready for the consequences. Like the saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.”
By the way, my mind is in overdrive with Bette at a golf course resort. Please make Bette, as she is in every other facet of her life, an excellent golfer with a low handicap. The differing sets of tees and handicap system combine to make the game an even playing field no matter the player or the location. In my opinion, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who can conquer a traditional man’s game and put a cocky man in his place. Oh, and tight golf capris won’t hurt either….just sayin’.
I’ll be sure to grab the popcorn and a nice glass of Pinot Noir before reading your next chapter. Anxiously awaiting.
