Love In Control – Chapter I – Savannah (Part 1)
Jackson evidently did not give her an answer that was anywhere close to what Bette wanted to hear.
“Didn’t we use a law firm that specialized in putting these types of agreements together, before we got into this, precisely to make sure we had ways to protect ourselves in case something happened? Ways like hauling their asses to court?!”
Um… same question, different words, Bette. The brunette’s eyes were flashing in anger, and she was walking away from Rian, whipping her towel around from side to side as she gesticulated with a hand.
Again, Jackson probably didn’t respond with a good enough answer.
“I do not fucking care if one billionaire or ten billionaires back that fucking program, Jackson. If any part of our funds are being used like play money by corrupt people, instead of being used to educate girls, I won’t stand for it! I. Will. Spend. Whatever. It. Takes. To. Make. Things. Right!”
Before she and Bette had left for this trip, Tina had pulled Rian aside and had told her about the possibility that Rian would have to try to calm Bette down “if it looks like she’s losing it” because the brunette had been on edge for the past few months, and the heart doctor had gone so far as to ask Bette to take a break. A real one this time. “I know it’s odd to ask you this favor, Rian,” Tina said, hesitantly. “Don’t feel like you should do anything extraordinary, though. I know you’re struggling a bit yourself, from time to time. Just help Bette monitor things. Sometimes, she doesn’t pay attention to signals. Crazy, I know…”
“$%^&*#!!” Bette’s latest expletive laden exclamation interrupted Rian’s thoughts. “Put me on speaker with that f%^&)%king representative! I want to make sure we do something, Jackson! Whatever it is. We need to make an impression this time. FU$#@%^&k!!! I don’t know how much clearer I need to be about this!”
Rian was fairly sure that if there was someone in the room with Jackson, there was no way he was going to expose Bette to the damage her image could suffer by putting her on speaker the way she was telling him to. Jackson was probably trying to calm the brunette down, too.

Loved the start of another story with these characters. Thanks
Wow! I loved it!
This statement of Bette and Tina was at the end
of chapter was pure poetry.
The entire constellation.
No way, you are back!
I am very happy to read your story and i truly love it!
B&T, god , still so much in love.
I am looking forward to the next update!
Where to start Skydancer……..? You’ve taken us on some wonderful journeys, introducing us to your alluring cast of characters. In addition to your version of Bette and Tina (which I absolutely adore), you’ve let us have a front row seat into the lives of Aerin, Harley, Jade, and Rian, each deep, rich characters in their own right. Now you’ve started us on this new, exciting journey with your ensemble cast, that will hopefully end with each in control of their loves and their destinies.
I hope that when Rian finds that switch to her spotty memories, she’s ready for the consequences. Like the saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.”
By the way, my mind is in overdrive with Bette at a golf course resort. Please make Bette, as she is in every other facet of her life, an excellent golfer with a low handicap. The differing sets of tees and handicap system combine to make the game an even playing field no matter the player or the location. In my opinion, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who can conquer a traditional man’s game and put a cocky man in his place. Oh, and tight golf capris won’t hurt either….just sayin’.
I’ll be sure to grab the popcorn and a nice glass of Pinot Noir before reading your next chapter. Anxiously awaiting.
