    the journey

    “She told me to leave that she doesn’t want me here.  How do I make her believe me when I tell her how much I love her how much I want her?” Bette cried as she lowered her head.

     

    “Bette look, it’s Christmas.  Dana and Kit will be here soon and even if you do leave later I think that you should go back in the house and spend today with your wife and daughter.  Don’t you think that it will be best if you two can just try to get through today and worry about all this tomorrow?” Shane looked patiently at Bette and waited for an answer.

     

    “But she told me to leave Shane.  It’s obvious that she doesn’t want me around her right now, hell I’m not sure that she will ever want me around.” Bette said softly.

     

    “Come on Bette you know that she does,” Shane replied.

     

    Bette began to sob uncontrollably as Shane hugged her tightly in her arms.

     

    Tina finished explaining to Alice what happened earlier that caused this latest rift with Bette.

     

    “Now let me get this right,” Alice said as she smiled at Tina.  “You’re pissed because you had been all touchy feely and Bette said, “We can’t do this?  Then it hurt you that you caught her taking care of business without you?”

     

    “Well yeah she didn’t want me to do it but it’s obvious that she needed to be touched.  How do you think that makes me feel?  I walked in on her” as Tina struggled to continue Alice walked to the window.

     

    “You walked in on her doing what you normally would have done together, she was obviously worked up from earlier so why should it matter what she did about it?  Where had she been earlier?  Oh right lying in bed naked while you played with the “twins”.  I wonder why she was so wound up?  Huh I just don’t understand.  Wait could it be that her need for her wife was so intense that she had to have some release?  Wow what a concept!” Alice said sarcastically.

     

    “You just don’t understand Alice!” Tina said loudly.  “She was with Candace because she wanted her her not me.  She stopped wanting me, today just re-enforced that for me.”

    5. Tina finds it so difficult to forgive Bette. If she can’t then I’m afraid their relationship is doomed. Tina is never going to find someone that she loves as much as Bette or loves her as deeply. Forgiveness is a divine trait.

    7. Tina really needs to stop comparing herself and Candace. Asking Bette if she was a better lover..etc. Bette’s explained to Tina that the affair was never about her it was about her herself. Hope Tina finally hears what Bette is telling her about Candace. Tina needs to give Bette a break, she needs to really hear how much Bette loves her. Bette should let Tina show her how much she loves her. I think Bette’s afraid to let Tina make love to her…she’s afraid it may be the last time, especially, if things don’t work out. Thanks for the update.
