    Tina: ‘I think I’m ready’

    The girls pull and Tina comes out from the mirror; the girlfriends hug and kiss each other and thanked Bo and Lauren and then Bo tells them her story.

    Bo: “I came from one of those”

     

    New Pasadena, 2:00 p.m. the same day–Arroyo Park Cyber observatory border with Old Los Angeles ruins

     

    Professors in charge at this time are Vince Korsak, Danica Palmer, Franklin Phillips, Kathryn Janeway, Angus Partridge additionally are also there Sharon Fairbanks, Phyllis Kroll, and Leonor Pieszecki

    Phyllis: “I think the storm has ended; may we send an emergency team toward H-027?”

    Franklin: “I think we must do that right now”

    Sharon: “I will go with the team”

    Phyllis: “I’ll go too”

    Danica and Leonor ask also to go with the team and in the way they pick up Melanie Wilson.

     

    New Pasadena, 2:00 p.m. the same day. New CalTech – what remains from building H-027

     

    Bette: “what…, you never told me, Bo”

    Bo: “I didn’t want you to think that I was crazy, only Lauren knew about that”

    Bette: “so…, how did you come from the other side?”

    Bo: “I wasn’t born in this place, but my mother was from in this planet, she was abducted; my other parents are from another dimension, I was an experiment along with other many children and one of us, an older girl, helped us to run away, I was 5 then”

    Tina: “you said other parents, what does it mean?”

    Bo: “My mother was inseminated with genetic material from two different creatures from another universe, that we know as fairies or fae, a male, and a female both bisexuals”

    Tina: “how could they made one sperm set with two different genomes”

    Bo: “they are different than us, well maybe is better to say different than humans, they have abilities that you couldn’t believe, and they could combine their genes with the ones of my real mother”

    Tina: “wow… so cool…, so are you a chimera or a hybrid?”

    Bo: “it’s no cool Tina, and I’m not really sure what classification I’m in, your mother was doing the study of my condition”

      Sciencefiction is not something that interest me, but your story is a exception.

      The “changed” girls found each other, and i am looking forward to see how they are gonna rescue Louise.

        You can believe it or not but I was also worry about Tina, she could decide to go to her mother that she saw through a window in the wormhole, but she came back to Bette, it was a hard decision.
        Now the question is why they were attacked, lightning hitting exclusively building H-027, what do you think about that?
        As far as we go, there are 12 ‘changed’ girls even though they may not be the only ones with potential abilities, however they were the ones that changed because a strong emotion, love, and their change was triggered by feeling their lovers or friends in distress or danger.
        That is not usual in real live sometimes love makes us move heaven and earth even using hidden abilities, of course no like the ones in this story.
        I’m very glad that you like my story and each time you guys make a comment it helps me to re-write my ideas and continue this story.

    3. Let me see if intender correct me if I’m talking nonsense.
      This means that we have a meta-human group, and Bette and Tina are
      with more powers than the others … this group are humans who possuíem “biological variation” in their METAGENE. And that this gene remained dormant until activated with this extreme storm or feeling, which is Love. And this METAGENE uses the source of this action as a catalyst for such “genetic change” resulting in meta-human abilities? !! … our mother !! … It’s getting very interesting this story.
      The entire universe.

      Note: I’m aware that this is a Sci-Fi.

    4. My friend, you are extremely close:

      Mutations are changes in the DNA sequence that regularly is present in certain population and it happens in single individual or group of individuals.
      Evolution requires mutations that could be transferred to offspring
      For mutations to be transferred to offspring they have to be in germ line cells (sex cells)
      The mutations could take place in the following ways:
      -By duplication of genes, where some of them remain originals (dominant and recessive genes)
      -By activation of some genes, through environmental factors (including age)
      -By mutations that take place in noncoding sequence (fragments) of DNA. DNA have sequences of units that coding traits (functions), these sequence are genes, however there are sequences of DNA that do not coding any trait (or not known genes)
      Now, it is known that using biomolecular engineering or genetic engineering, the last type of mutations could be performed by “someone”

        • I hope I’m not boring you with these technicalities. This is what Louise is questioning herself after her third dream (former chapter); did “someone” play God altering the genetic material of the cryobanks? or was there a genetic mix of DNA from humans and other species, and now is about to be expressed? That could give some explanation or have relationship to what is called a METAGENE and METAHUMANS (in some sci-fi stories and comics, which by the way I love). But here this is not going to happen to a privileged group, but to the whole human race and in different levels and you will read what it will entail
