    To add fuel to the fire, the girl Bette had brought home the night before had finally decided to grace the duo with her presence. Bette wanted nothing more than to crawl under a rock, hating the fact that the current situation wasn’t going to help her case any.

    Alice raised an eyebrow as she recognized Bette’s latest bed partner and the brunette found herself wanting to crawl deeper under that rock.

    Okay, so she didn’t always make the brightest decisions in life. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t be a good match for Tina. Not that Bette wanted to be considering Alice was her best friend but still. Just stating a fact.

    “Hey, Al” The younger brunette smiled as she walked over, sexily swaying her hips in an effort to encourage Bette back into the bedroom.

    “Candace” Alice nodded before taking a bite out of her apple, eyeing the woman up and down. “You look different”

    Candace glanced down at her choice in outfit, one of Bette’s white t-shirts that barely covered the fact that she wasn’t wearing any panties .. or a bra for that matter.

    She met Alice’s eyes and smirked, “Yeah, I guess it’s a change from my work outfit”

    Alice nodded as she let out a breath of laughter, careful not to spit out the pieces of apple she was still in the process of chewing. “Oh it’s definitely a change”

    “Alice” Bette warned as Candace slipped an arm around her waist and looked down to the brunette now pressed into her side.

    “Do you wanna get something to eat before we go again? I kinda need some energy after that last round”

    Bette looked to Alice just as the blonde rolled her eyes and looked away before finishing the last of her apple.

    Bette sighed as she looked back at Candace, “I can’t I’m sorry. I have band practice today with Alice and the others. Maybe another time?”

    Candace pursed her lips before she smiled softly and leaned up on her tip toes to give the taller brunette a sweet kiss on the lips, “You’re lucky you’re hot. I’m just gonna shower before I leave if that’s cool”

    Bette nodded and watched as Candace walked back into the bedroom and shut the door.
