Bettes mind was working in overdrive as she tried to process exactly when things had started to go bad so soon. She couldnt really pinpoint one specific occasion that had caused a rift between her and Tina but she had a feeling it happened some time after they started living together. She could remember Tinas words from the other night about how she felt like Bette treated her like a housewife and how she felt ignored sometimes.

She just didnt understand how Tina could feel like that. Sure there were the times when Bette would come home late but she always called didnt she? Well sometimes she did and sometimes she didnt. But still, Tina always knew where she was and if she was that concerned then she could always call her cell. Then there were the times when her and Tina would argue about something smallmundane really but it would escalate into a huge blow out and they wouldnt speak for a few days. But every couple fights right? Then there was the issue of *****. Bette couldnt remember the last time they really took the time to make love all night long like they used to. Nowadays it was still just as frequent but sometimes Bette felt like either her or Tina was just doing it because the other wanted. But how do you change that? How do you fix that?

Bette sighed as she finally pulled off the freeway and headed down her street. She knew the main problem above all else was the fact that whenever they fought they just wouldnt speak to one another for long periods of time. Her and Tina were alike in that they held their emotions in and Bette had a sinking feeling that this might be the downfall to their relationship. But why should she give in and talk to Tina first? Was she really at fault here for something?

Bette pounded on the horn as some ***** hole cut her off nearly causing her to slam into a parked car. She sat there slightly shaken for a few seconds before pulling her car out and driving the little distance to her house. Their house. The house that seemed to put up huge walls between her and Tina. Or at least it seemed.
