As Bette parked her car and gathered her things she wondered if Tina was even home. For the past two days whenever she had come home Tina was nowhere in sight. Tina had conveniently been working late the last week or so, which made it even harder for Bette to have a chance to talk to her about what was going on.

As she made her way up to the door the lights were on and she could hear soft music playing signaling Tina being home. Bette sighed as she braced herself for whatever side of Tina she was going to have to deal with and she hoped that they could just get past this and move on with their life together. As she opened the door she tried to be quiet so she wouldnt scare Tina and once inside she looked around but didnt see any sign of Tina, which confused her. She set her things down on the kitchen table and looked down the hallway.

Tina? Tee?

She walked back to the bedroom but didnt find Tina there either so she headed back out to the living room and spotted Tina fast asleep on the couch. Bette went over and sat down on the table in front of Tina and smiled down at her. One thing that Bette always loved to do was watch Tina sleep and right now at this very moment Bette couldnt help but feel her breath catch in her throat as she took in how peaceful and sweet Tina looked. She was tempted to run her fingers along her cheek but held back because she didnt want to wake Tina up. Instead she sat there and watched Tina sleep peacefully with a small smile on her face.

God its been so long since Ive seen her like this, thought Bette as she took in all the soft features and gentle curves of Tinas face and body. She looked at her for a long time before it finally hit hersmacked her across the head really.

She missed Tina.

She missed being able to hold Tina at night as they fell asleep talking about absolutely nothing and waking up in the same position to a smiling face. She missed the smell of Tinas hair when she just gets out of the shower and how soft her skin feels under Bettes fingers. She missed the times when her and Tina could spend all day doing absolutely nothing but still having a wonderful time because they were in love and they were together.
