Tina managed to finish preparing her dinner without any further accidents.
That evening she went to bed early and dreamed about a beautiful brunette with dark brown curly hair and a mocha skin………
Friday:
The second day at work went by pleasantly. Big Bertha was on sick-leave. Bette noticed that most of the men tried to get her attention one way or another. She liked them but she wasn’t interested in them the way some of them were interested in her. Women had her interest. And besides that, Bette also had one rule: she never dated her co-workers. Nothing good could come out of that.
That day she worked with James. He was a pleasant man to work with. Bette found out that James had the same interests she had; he liked music and wood.
He told her something about himself but she wasn’t so open about herself. James noticed that and respected her and didn’t push her to get to know her story.
That afternoon Bette walked back home in a happy mood. She even hummed, something she hadn’t done in a long time. When she walked by the grocery store, she decided to get in and get herself a Häagen-Dazs ice bucket. Secretly she hoped she’d see Tina again. And she did. Before she saw her, she heard her talking. Man that woman had a beautiful voice!
When she walked to the counter to pay for her ice, Tina also saw her. Now it was Tina’s heart that skipped a beat.
“Hi there, how do you like the neighborhood so far? Do you know your way around a bit?”
“Hi hallo. No not yet but tomorrow I’m off, so I’ve decided to check out the neighborhood.”
“Cool, I can show you around if you want to. Oh, shit,” Tina thought, “what have I done?”
“If it’s no problem for you, I’d love too.” Bette answered, smiling.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to impose myself. Sometimes I can be too enthousiastic.”
“In this case, it’s appreciated.” Bette smiled her megawatts smile. When she did, she got Tina speecheless. Damn, Tina thought to her self, that smile…….killing!
“What…………the date is off?”
“Date, do we have a date…..? I offered to show you around this neighborhood, I didn’t say anything about a date.”

Wow! Thanks for the shout out! I was excited when I got back from my meeting and saw this post. I loved it! Tina will go back I feel and talk to Bette. Well, I’m off to take a nap before I go to work at 5pm. I pray there’s another post before or after I get off work. Thanks again! PPS
